I know it doesn't have a stock version in FL, but using Bass Rider (from Waves), would be a more sophisticated solution because it wouldn't destroy the transients of the louder parts, cool tutorial tho! Keep droppin' these mixing gems💎🔥

MASTRAY love that plugin as well! I think I emphasized destroying the transients too much haha, if you’re subtle with it, it won’t do any damage that’s audible until you go crazy, but bass rider is amazing! Saves so much volume automation time

I was looking for this video since the first time I seen it but forgot some of the stuff. Shits top tier. I use this technique to level out my 808 to stay at a constant peak level. I just set it to the level that the first note peak is registered at and I also use the L1 limiter.

Solo Otto usually EQ, tube saturation, light bus compressor, and a limiter for loudness. It really depends though, sometimes nothing and just a limiter
