I was looking for this video since the first time I seen it but forgot some of the stuff. Shits top tier. I use this technique to level out my 808 to stay at a constant peak level. I just set it to the level that the first note peak is registered at and I also use the L1 limiter.

I don’t know what it is brotha, but all my 808 samples seem to be trash. They never come out clear when I try to add them into my songs. I rarely like putting ANY 808s in my beats because they always sound like your 808 when you put that reverb on it. Do you think it’s mainly just the sound selection that’s making me feel this way?
