I watched this today, after meeting up with friends in a cafe (hard seat, walked without a stick again - my new normal 🎉) and when I walked in, and they asked how are you Bridie as they always do, for the first time I was able to say I'm good and really feel it! How can this work so fast?! You are not only a blessing but a life changer. So grateful I came across you a few weeks ago, thank you.

Noticing that we learn things without having to know how it happens is hugely helpful. Just turning our attention to our desire to learn is key. Being open and receptive to learning creates space for the desired outcome. I'm not a religious person but "ask and it shall be given" comes to mind. I've noticed this in so many other ways in my life. We try too hard to get an answer. Allowing solutions to unfold/appear and trusting that they will works much better. Relaxing into our life and trusting our ability to evolve and enjoy our growth is life changing. We're programmed to learn and grow.

@@PainFreeYou thank you for the comment. I'm looking forward to absorb the tms knowledge. Over the last two years I studied a lot into gnm which is german new medicine. Again thanks Dan, for making this so easy to follow! One other coach actuallly said to give the brain a bad nickname and sometimes yell at it to let pain go. Didn’t work, but since I began your approach, the first day my pain in hops and one buttock began to slowly ease off in afternoon. And it’s done that 3 times this week. Today may be a bit hard, my body reacts to weather changes, here in NZ, it’s the southerly (northerly in your area). But I have already talked to Mrs brain not to take notice of it.

I’m set back now from taking care of my 89 year old father for days. I didn’t have time to take care of my pain because I was focused on him while I was in pain still. Now I’m having a huge setback like starting my 5 year TMS journey all over again from the beginning. And the worst part is my 2 sisters had a home care company in place taking care of my dad without my knowledge. So I’m killing my ass and my sisters are healthy and hired a company to cover their turn. I’m done with toxic liars!!!!!

I’ve been doing great so far this week with not adding fear and attention despite pretty strong upper back right side tension. Just going about my day with it. What’s so strange is my brain perceives danger when I’m talking to people sometimes and it’ll flare up mid-conversation! Probably remnants from the last 7 months of severe anxiety I’m finally getting past. Going to meetings still flares me up bad as well. Pushing through with calm reassurance and no fear!

easier said than done if all the correct data suggest that ur 24, have no social circle, never had a girlfriend, cant talk anything smart to people, and when u do i only gets worse every time. short version: i was by cardiologist over a few years now because i always have back pain behind/in the heart, and the tests always said everything is fine so i just put it on back pain. probleme is every time i think about these situations, what i have achieved or clearly not, it really cuts my breath short and tenses the back up. so only solution is to kindda ignore my state of being and jump from one dopamine hit to the next

@cforat

I can relate. I finally got to the " I don't care" attitude; meeting every thought with "It's fine." That shortened the amount of time I was focusing on the symptoms and lowered the fear level. I met thoughts of frustration with "This is temporary and the best thing I can do is be indifferent." When I start to try and figure it out, I just say "It's fine." Dan has a lot of videos about how the attitude is the core thing. So I don't think you need more convincing that you are fine; just less focus, fear, frustration, and attempts to figure it out.
