I've got a 330ci just like this one, but better specced. Insurance isn't bad unless you're under 20 with fresh license (I'm 24 and it's cheap to insure). If you maintain it and look after it, doesn't break or let you down. Recently been to Germany and pushed it to 150 mph with no issues whatsoever. Amazing to drive and a very solid car. Make sure that the known weak spots are addressed and there's no rust, otherwise nothing to be afraid of. The problem with the E46s is that many are owned by boy racers and cars aren't maintained, raced around and cheaped out on, that's why they become unreliable.

Do the preventative maintenance and you'll be fine. Easy to work on and the internet is full of info. Check the channels of 50's kid and shoplife tv for example.

I want to win this special car because next week is my birthday and: My ex-girlfriend was living and studying in the UK and just before her graduation I managed to convince her that the Е46 3XXci is the ultimate machine. I've always wanted one myself but it was time for her to buy a car and she only insisted on having a cabrio. Then long story short after seeing a couple of BMWs all across the UK and while enjoying being tourists, we ended up with a 2005 325ci Cabrio, exactly the same colour and spec like yours. Then we traveled a whole lot of the UK for a week with that car and it was the most amazing driving experience of my life (she was afraid to drive RHD). Then we shipped the car to our home country and we converted it to LHD. I spent a lot of time and energy to make the car better. Then a lot of more amazing memories with the cabrio were to come before we split up. Needless to tell that she didn't like the Е46 so much as I did and therefore tragically sold it shortly after. Also, needless to say that I'm a hardcore BMW enthusiast having owned a couple already myself. But ever since that car I've dreamed of having one like it in the garage to cherish and enjoy. I just wanted to share my story regardless of who you choose to win the car. Although I wouldn't mind to be this man the tiniest bit. @@tmanepic Well I did it in Bulgaria where prices are generally cheaper. We did everything and in the end the car was 100% LHD even with the tire stickers on the right side. Plus much other stuff fixed and improved on the way. Let's say it all came around £1000. I would only start a conversion process If I am absolutely sure that I have every single part and everything will be as close as possible to the factory (including wiring).

Dear Adnan, Since I wrecked my 07 Subaru Forester STI I'm currently without a car. I live in The Netherlands (so will easily be able to pickup the car and know how to register it here). I am already fond of driving with the steering wheel on the right side and I had a Peugeot 306 convertible which I terribly miss and I had a E36 328 Touring for drifting which I had to sell. Man , this is exactly like the car I was forced to sell when I moved from vancouver Canada , to Tallinn Estonia . It would be sweet to get back behind the exact same model , mine was a ZHP 330ci with a little bit more horse power and ECS tunning aluminum hat brakes on larger diameter for ZHP specific packages. Lol So I'm basically a e46 nutcase I've owned 12 of them never had a coupe or a convertible, so couple months ago I had my dream car (project car) an E46 which started life as a 320d stolen 1 month after putting a LS1 inside it was the hardest thing to get my head around thinking it was a expensive car but yet my pride and joy and I was quite upset. My pride and joy was written off today and it seems like this video being released in line with that gives me the chance to have a car again (as currently I am a student and have 0% chance in being able to afford a car anytime soon). Hope to win this one so bad!!
