In this tutorial i show you how to set up the Physics Asset bones so they follow your animation instead of ragdolling when enabling the simulation. Hope it helps!

Great video! You can also use a free plugin like kawaii physics for hair (like a twintail), tail and ear physics. It looks really great for physics bodies with bone chains like tails!

ive used this plugin before. Amazing stuff. Not sure if the update for 5.4 is out yet tho this method with native capsules is rly good too :)

Thanks for the tutorial! I have a problem though. The Skeletal Mesh works fine in the Physics viewer and inside of the Animation Blueprint. However, when the skeletal mesh is inside a blueprint, the physics aren't applied. Edit: My bad, I had another physics assets overriding it, lol.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT i WAS LOOKING FOR! The process i was using have a ton of a issues like pieces being weighted down and getting stuck somewhere
