Luxury is in the eye of the beholder and however the brand is marketed for example Casablanca paris at first glance it’s not your traditional luxury fashion house however as the years have gone on it is now a fashion house even though it’s basically cotton t shirts with vibrant prints

You missed the point of the video. You can literally make any design “luxury” by presenting your brand that way.

look, can someone answer these questions please? 1. I dot have any experience in clothing brands, can I still start? 2. I want my brand to be unique, so I don't want to use blanks as they can be bought and sold by anyone right? so I think I heard cut n sew can be the option but what's the process, and how can I design the clothes, etc... 3. how do I get an idea of a design? (like to make a design, you need ideas, where can I get that? 4. I don't only want to make streetwear, but make it a little minimalistic and luxury like Ralph Lauren, Lacoste etc. (not only them but yeah) 5. I want to hire designers to work with me for a long term (Ill not pay them until I start earning, where can I find them?)

I almost always say DTG but there’s no reason to not include screenprinting too. If you’re design is full color then its DTG, if it’s vector based then screenprint.

There’s also budget concerns. Most manufacturers have MOQ for screenprinting but not DTG.

People think that when you buy something that crazy expensive that they have quality. The fact is that the materials they use are exactly the same as cheaper shirts, they just want to make a lot of money of people who don't care about spending. You talk about Gildan being bad , you do know that Virgil Abloh used that right and sold these Gildans for ridiculous amouts. The ones who have a lot of money will fall for these tricks, and those brands are going for them they want to make quick money that's all.

Not all luxury brands do that. if you're selling t-shirts for $500 each, a $2 gildan blank makes little-to-no difference from a $10 rueporter blank. You also missed the point of the video, it's supposed to educate you on how you can do this to your brand too. Not get pissed because of consumerism, because news flash, the industry is exploitative 🤯
