You've saved me with this tutorial. I basically wear foundation, mascara, and chapstick when I bother to wear any makeup at all, but I'm up for a position in the corporate office which means... actual makeup. This look was fast, simple, easy to follow, and the result looks put together without me feeling like a Wish version of Kim Kardashian. Thank you SO MUCH!

I am not on you tube that much with the exception of watching kids songs all day. I came across a video you did pointing out the (What not to do) while applying makeup. 1/2 of your face was done the correct way and the other half the 'WRONG WAY'. Lol....I am embarrassed to admit it but I think at one time or another I have been guilty guilty of doing all of the DONT''S.....with the exception of using primer (to not prime is a crime) but I only find myself doing it realistically only 5% of the time. Your tips and techniques have changed the way I apply make-up but most importantly the techniques are taking years off my face making me look more alert and youthful after having a baby in my 40's.. I enjoy watching your videos and want you to know you are making a difference in the way you show us how to apply make up using proper techniques. I wish you continued success and look forward to your many new and old posts. Thank you again. Love these tips. I def. cannot wait to try these steps. I will be off to Sephora tomorrow. **** Last thing...do a wide array of expensive brushes truly make a difference in the way make up is applied or is it just a personal choice? I personally gravitate toward Mac and Anastasia Beverly Hills but only own their makeup products. Am I doing a disservice to myself by not purchasing name brand brushes?

You are the only makeup artist I've found so far who actually has small, deep set eyes, which I also have. I've tried the shadow on lower lid but it's tricky. I usually look like I didn't remove my makeup properly. I have no lashes on the lower lid so have always used eye shadow there. I'm surprised you put no dark shadow in the outer third and corners. I'll have to try this!

I just watched the Aly Art video and Ali Andreea doesn't copy hers... 1. Aly did not use shimmer vs. Ali used a highlighter 2. Aly used a mascara primer vs. Ali did not 3. Aly used a pink eyeshadow vs. Ali used a brown/mix of colors 4. Aly connected her liner onto the bottom last line vs. Ali did not 5. Aly did not curl her lashes vs. Ali did curl her lashes 6. Aly drew a wing or "last lash" vs. Ali did not They both use overarching and known concepts that you can find in many other makeup tutorial videos but to say Ali plagiarized is false. Both are amazing artists and I thank both of them for taking the time to share their versions of making your eyes look bigger with makeup

What an easy day look, especially when you don't have alot of time. What a difference shading, highlighting and mascara can make! For what it's worth I prefer brushes when applying makeup, but that was how I was trained. I may use my ring finger to gently pat eyelid color on, but other than that I'm all brushes. Definitely not one of your viewers who doesn't like when you use them. Have a wonderful weekend!

It has actually been a Korean trend for many years. Aegyo sal = the under eye bag. Korean eye makeup is designed to enlarge eyes though so makes sense hahah
@Liolia227 жыл бұрын
I saw these tips originally on Ali Art's site, I'm pretty sure she was the first to post this (since she did it back in 2014), she approaches makeup as an artist, not just a makeup artist. So now I know it's also a major trend in Korea, according to the last commenter, which makes sense, since Korean beauty is ALL about "the innocent look" and doe eyes are a huge part of that :) point is, Ali Andreea (or she said Andreea Ali, so I don't get that...) is by no means the originator of this technique, and I wish she had given credit where it's due. Check out the original technique here: thkzbin.info/www/bejne/aZWUq3eVaLiHmtk

Liolia, I remember Ali Art’s video as well. I do think it’s impossible to determine who invented the look, though. I understand the Korean influence. However, I worked with a young woman in the 1990’s who applied lower liner in a very similar way due to allergies. Perhaps she was ahead of her time. 😂

This is a beautifully natural look. 'Tis so much better than all the "smokey" eye looks. That dark overdone look has now become a common everyday look-- not at all pretty. The overdone "smokey" look & all those metallic and glittery looks give the impression of a pre-teen who spent the afternoon playing with eye makeup, resulting in something appropriate for Halloween, and nothing else.

@AliAndreea7 жыл бұрын
Emilie Varak Usually you use green to reduce the appearence of red. I raaarely use color correction products because I feel it that after you apply the green, you will have another problem: covering the green. So then you apply another layer of product. I like to apply small amount of products but good pigment.
