The cardboard liner can also be used to make an impression in something like plaster of paris, to make a re-useable mould.

However, the plaster of paris will deteriorate and only last something like 40 casts.

Just dont pour lead on to, or in to, anything that is wet, including wet sand!!!!

I've tried it with plaster, but not cement. Haven't got access to a little bit.

You should wear safety glasses, I have a scar on my wrist caused by lead spitting because the mould was damp.
