Regular classical split lock washers do Not work , never did not at all . Don't believe me ? Look on your car, the mist bursting thing you own other than the tractor . Find me a regular split lock washer. Nordlock style washers and locktight work . Nylocks better than nothing but not as good . See page 9 of NASA report from 40 years ago!
