I used Canola oil ...Worked perfectly! Even in wet snow . Repeat as needed . So easy & cheap too .

I watched a few videos before purchasing the same brand of ceramic coating. I used it for about 2 years and think it’s a great product. You can easily spend 4x more for some unheard of magic brand. I’m going to try this on my snow blower. Good information!!!

Great video! I actually had this ceramic spray in my Amazon cart, thinking it was the best stuff to buy to snow-proof my shovel. Seems like it would be much better than various other waxes and silicon sprays, and even easier to apply. Good video thanks for the tip. I was thinking about doing this myself it was good to see it in action. It was good there was a section you missed so we could see how the snow was sticking. I am going to try this on my lawn mower where the grass sticks. Then on my car in the wheel wells where the slush always sticks.

Great video. I have same snow blower as you and constantly having to deal with this issue during bad snow storms in the winter. Special thanks for providing yet another usage for the Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray haha. Worked great on my Mitsubishi outdoor mini split AC units like you suggested (and of course on cars), so I will definitely be trying this come winter. If you have other suggested uses for the ceramic spray, let me know…still have to justify that (very modestly priced) ceramic spray purchase to the wife haha

Those were great tips. However, even with my sparkplug disconnected mine manged to start on its own somehow. Good thing my hands were clear of the blades at the time, it's funny how that just happens sometimes. Great idea Jim. I wonder if when you spray the chute, if you would rotate the chute as you spray down into the throat, if it would get better coverage. It looks to be like using this coating definitely helps. Thanks for sharing. Full watch and a thumbs up. New subscriber here.

A real test would be to do half of you auger housing and tape off half the chute and only spray half of it. Then you would be able to see just how much difference there really is. I use silicone spray myself.

This does not work very well. I ceramic coated my entire brand new snowblower Toro 826 electric version e26 Just had 4 inches of snow real wet and sticky.. it clogged a lot!! Never had this happen before. It was pretty bad even got clogged behind the auger had to keep using the unclogged tool over and over. That was a pain in the butt

It protects him from getting sued by someone who does something stupid, like doing this with the engine running. KZbinrs on gun channels show their audience that the gun they are pointing "at the camera" is empty, as if it would go off while pointed at and audience member in their living room, and injure them. Car channels disconnect the car battery even though they are not working on electrical systems. It's a liability thing!
