It's been super rainy and windy here for the past two days, and I got myself a great umbrella. My only problem is that the grip was lousy. It's rubberized, but every time a big gust of wind came through, it still felt like it would slip out of my hand unless I had a vice grip on the thing. One day, and a packet of sugru later, and this is no longer an issue. Used a couple of the techniques featured in these vids, and it looks almost seamless, like the handle was made that way in the factory. Hell of a lot more ergonomic now, as well, since it's molded from my own hand. This is the first time I've used this product to "mod" anything, instead of just fixing things, so I'm pretty impressed with how well it ended up working out.

Would Sandpaper work after it's herden into the rubber? Like say that you noticed that the shape is not quite what you wanted and you cant fix it with your fingers.

It’s not a bad product, but it’s way too expensive. At half the price, I’d be twice as interested. For many applications you’d actually be better off using a high quality construction Polyurethane adhesive like Sika.
