How To Make YouTube Shorts in Davinci Resolve (Step By Step For Beginners)

Thank you for the tutorial! I resolved an issue so I thought I'd post here in case anyone else had trouble. If you are turning an existing timeline from standard orientation to vertical orientation, then you might notice Davinci cropping your clips automatically in weird ways and preventing you from changing the position of the clip as presented in the video. I solved this by going to project settings/image scaling then changing input scaling and output scaling to "Scale entire image to fit". This simply shrinks the whole clip to size without cropping, so you can manually crop. The default setting was cutting off the edges of my clip and zooming in, but was limiting my ability to choose the section of the video to present in the frame.

I've been trying to find DVR tutorials all afternoon and this is the BEST BEST i have come across. It is clear. The voice is great and clear. The instructions are spot on. can you not do 4 k shorts? when i try and import a 4k video and invert the 4k resolution it doesnt work..im getting a frame around it. any idea? your method works if i use 1080 but i just cant do it with 4k. advise?

I need help, I changed the dimensions to the 1080 and 1920 and rendered it to my computer but when I uploaded to KZbin to be a shorts it was not showing shorts in the link before publishing the video so my video was only showing as a regular length video.
