How to manage diabetes in the post transplant patient?

So instead of tacrolimus what would be better , because taking insulin is injections is painful and a lot of muscle mass loss is scary 😢

SO I was a type two diabetic before dialysis, seven years on dialysis, transplant 12/18/19 and now uncontrolled sugars ranging from 160 to over 300 and diet is healthy and continuing to make adjustments. Do I need an endocrinologist?
