How to manually open fuel cap door on a Peugeot 407

It appears that a common problem with the Peugeot 407 is that the central locking solenoid for the fuel door becomes jammed. In my search on the Internet I found no manual release cable as sometimes suggested, I needed to resort to removing the wheel, the wheel housing, and the central locking solenoid in order to release the fuel door. You’ll need a Jack, wheel spanners, a number eight spanner, and two star (Torx) screwdrivers not Phillips screwdrivers - I'm not sure what size they are but there are two different sizes.
