two years later I still love watching your videos, Barry - and two years later I'm still waiting for NI to combine the AU and Sampler modules into one, or at least let me chop from AU, would make stand alone projects much more efficient.

Yoooo this is fantastic. That loop method to where you resample your loop was a complete game changer

Thanks Griffin. That's one of my favourite things to do in Maschine, especially when I find myself stuck or uninspired.

Good stuff as always brother. I haven't used the sample module to tune samples in a while. I've been using the stretch option more lately but I think I'm gonna try out the other methods you pointed out in the video
@BarryDanielMusic3 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro. I hardly/never use the stretch option but it’s good to know and understand. Recently I’ve been utilizing the audio module the most to sync perc loops.

You the g! I was thinking i was gonna have to make a Frankenstein of audio and sampler modules combined!
@BarryDanielMusic3 жыл бұрын
Haha. Thank you. I do from time to time Frankenstein the two together when I get lazy and don’t want to fiddle around with the sample editor.

Hello Barry, do you use the audio module when chopping samples or just to perfect a loop?
@BarryDanielMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hello. Majority of the time I’ll use the Sample Module to chop samples as you can rearrange and replay the chops whereas the Audio Module you can’t really.
@BarryDanielMusic2 жыл бұрын
I recently made a video on creating Blends and Mashups on Maschine. Thats what I’ve been experimenting on recently with the Audio Module.

Is there an efficient way to turn them off when not needed to save CPU ? Is adjusting them tempo via the Sampler editor less taxing on the CPU (bc it commits it to the wav)? I find the auto detect is never right (user error?). I have to switch a sample to audio, manually adjust the Audio-source-tempo until the loop looks/sounds correct. Then I'm left with a bunch of pads that are all Audio "Gate" mode and they eat up ALL the CPU. I know i need to bounce them to new pads but on the M+ (no computer) it seems more cumbersome to do this.

How do I make the sample in the piano roll all the same length as the original sample - so that the highest key doesn't sound like a fast pitched mouse? Anyway to?

Bro im not gone i didn’t understood shii you just did it really looked like yku just used pitch twice but sure ill get it eventually

Every time I stretch the sample it just speeds up and never matches the project's bpm, what should I do? Ps: I own the Maschine Mikro
@BarryDanielMusic3 жыл бұрын
Hey. I’d start by throwing it into the audio module first to see if it loops perfectly (assuming it’s a loop) and to ensure you have the correct original tempo and length. If it’s all good you can either speed it up there or stretch it since you now have the correct information. If the tempo is a little off you can manipulate the speed with how you chop it up and replay it. Hardware versions may have limitations but we all have the same functionality and ability within the software. So Micro or Plus user can all do the same thing within the software.

Thanks but I rather stick to my method. Which is open wav file in FL Studio set the desired BPM, save the file and open it again in Mashine. Wolah,..problem solved. 😊
@BarryDanielMusic2 жыл бұрын
That’s a great option too. Whatever gets the result your looking for at the end of the day.

Anyone use Maschine in STUDIO ONE? I have a few questions. First, can the speed not follow STUDIO ONE. Second, I have no control over Maschine's playbar, I have to start from the beginning every time.

Hey. I sometimes see posts regarding Maschine and Studio One on Reddit. The community over there could be helpful. I personally use Maschine and Logic.

I ain’t gonna lie, this is one of the main reasons I hardly ever use samples. I don’t have the patience to match tempos and all that. Unless I stumble across something that’s just undeniably dope I don’t sample anymore.
@BarryDanielMusic2 жыл бұрын
Definitely one of the “non-creative” aspects of beat making I don’t like but I chalk it up to it being part of the process. And honestly if i chop the sample small enough I can fake match it give or take a few bpm.
