Thank you so much, the best content I've found on this matter. I can only ask, after doing all this I find myself still having the files in the old partition. How can I delete them? and how can I make sure the main disk is the new one?

does migrating os to another drive retain applications installed on that drive ? After migration does the previously installed application run ?

Hello, what does it mean when im trying to install diskgenius there this warning that says, dont install it on the partition where you want to recover files. Im not that techy so.. I only have 1 drive that is currently used and want to upgrade it to a bigger ssd. So basically i only have the C drive to install it to. Does this mean i have to install it on another drive that is not what i currently use for safety?

You're not recovering files so you can ignore that message and install on the C drive.

man my problem is the SSD doesn’t come up in bios post migration process, I have a Z790 Pro WiFi and it only allows me to boot from the hdd

Unplug the original drive and see if that helps.
