Spirit is the Angel Cartel skin for Gallete ships. So it's fitting to make use of it. pro tip: if you name your cargo container the time it was ejected, or the time it will expire, you'll have a record of when you have to pick it up before it goes away. That said, if people have their dscan set up so it will pick up cargo containers, naming it will tell them you plan to come back for that object, so doing that in lowsec may not be the best idea. Alternatively, you have a notepad within the client, so you can record the time there. All that isn't that big of an issue for the ice mining you're doing right now, but when you get another hauler spawn, it might be useful. (You can eject something to make a can , and move the hauler mats into the can.) They're somewhat rare, but not as rare as faction spawns. Also during your ratting ops, you can curate spawns by killing everything in the spawn if you don't want to keep killing it. But if you do, then you only kill the stuff you want to keep killing. (kill battle ships and leave the frigs) and then the stuff you want to keep killing will spawn again. I don't know if this works for hauler spawns, as I've not tested it. (You would have wanted to avoid killing the chief guard if it does work for hauler spawns.) Also, If you want to mark the spawn, so you don't accidentally kill the small stuff in it, drop one of the lower hp ships into hull. If that strat doesn't work for hauler spawns, you're probably better off just killing everything like you're doing, so you have more chances for hauler and faction spawns. Loving the progress on this project. Good work.

I ratted in a catalyst for the trial back in 2015 and made about 2 billion isk between hauler spawns, shadow serp spawns, and clone tags... I couldn't kill the mordu spawns then till I decided to resub one of my old toons. Hauler spawns in 0.1 are the best you can get.... those use the old true sec to determine what drops. Also there are the 250 mill to 300 mill named ice and mining upgrades that drop from hauler spawns. Good luck with this masochistic endeavor!

Another mining trick for you. If you get enough of it and dont reprocess it, you can compress the ore/ice it for easier transport. It still reprocesses the same the only difference is you wont need to haul as much

there is a trick to make haulers warping faster , press warp , give ONE cycle of MWD (turn on/turn off) , wen the cycle ends the hauler insta warp , thats because a ship warps wen it is at 2/3 of his max velocity , wen the cycle ends since the ship is slow you probably are

This is only an improvement if your align time is >10sec, but for ships like that (i.e. DST's) it's a game changer

are you planning to train any of the reprocessing skills?

Honestly, I don't think so. So far most of the reprocessing skills that would have been useful to us (Scrapmetal Processing, Ice Processing) either have very SP intensive prereqs or expensive skillbooks or both. And the absolute amount that we need of most of these resources is relatively small. The difficult part is generally going to be getting ourselves into a position to acquire them. But once we're in that position, it won't be that much of a hardship to just acquire an extra 20% to make up for lacklustre processing skills.

Have no idea why this showed up. I had a character that was pure pvp, was a 2003 char and had I think maybe 97m sp. Almost everything was V. I sold it right before the skill injectors came out for almost 2 grand. Was really fun, but I heard about the skill injectors and immediately cashed out.
