Watching at 1.5 with subtitles not only gets me through more content but it's like dual learning, Similar to reading a book and speaking each word if that makes sense? Secondly If I forget to take daily as long as I'm topping up 4 times a week that's OK. That's great for me as I forget my vitamins every day too.

Hi Eugene Your channel is very informative. Two things I learned from your video today are: 1. Over training a.k.a inadequate recovery can lead to hormonal imbalances which can then lead to a variety of issues in men and women. 2. We shouldn't be discouraged and bothered by our genetics, instead should only focus on what we can control such as recovery, training and nutrition. Love your channel. Keep up and stay safe.

I'm not sure why it took my this long to find your channel but I consider myself very blessed to have found it. Your knowledge, honesty, and clarity when speaking is hard to find all in one place. I really liked all the points you made, especially about the fact that although guys don't get menstrual cycles, they should be aware of the levels of stress that they are putting on their bodies. Personally, I have fast metabolism and don't manifest weight as physically obvious as others do but still try to eat right because it is scary to primarily use weight as the determining factor of being healthy. I've ben studying your videos and can't weight to see more.

First things first, you are the most impactful person I have ever come across in my life. Glad I bought the subscription to your app and that's the best investment I have ever made. So thankyou for inspiring 1000s of other people like me ❤. 1. You can have creatine even while dieting down or during a prep as it won't retain water in your muscles as it's a myth. 2. Crash dieting is never an option, you can't adhere to the nutrition plan then there is no point going ahead with it. Life is more than just losing 10-20kgs to look good, you are worried and stressed about your macros/diet plan then you are digging a hole for yourself so always prioritize your mental health and adherence when it comes to following a nutrition protocol. Cheers Coach 🍻

2 things i learned during this video: 1st: Creatine consumption during workout days VS every day is almost the same. Frequency is secondary when creatine is consumed at its bare minimum doses. 2nd: Excess stress hormones can lead to Loss of Menstrual Cycle as Hypothalamic Amenorrhea occurs due to hypothalamic stress(?).

Never disappoints, fantastic video again Eugene! 2 things I learned from this: 1. Didn’t know creatine is not only not harmful (always thought processed supplements are not ideal for our system) but it provides way more benefits than I expected, gonna start loading 3g of creatine daily soon! 2. Genetics (ecto, endo, meso) doesn’t really matter when it comes to training- this totally changed my perspective as I always thought that a hard gainer/ skinny fat like me would require a specific recipe and so glad that you proved me wrong again. STIMULUS = GROWTH!

Awesome vid, Coach! This vid answered some questions I’ve had sitting in the back of my mind for a while; but great to know that what you said has reinforced some of the info I’ve given to people I work with 😄 1. Yessss! So glad you touched on hypothalamic amenorrhea/training the female athlete. This has been a big focus area for me at the moment in my studies & ongoing learning as I’m working with a large number of women on a daily basis. The huge takeaway for me from this section was asking “When was the last time you weren’t focusing your nutrition around fat loss/weight loss?” - definitely a question that I haven’t asked my Team enough, because everyone is always pro-weight/fat loss 😅 2. Understanding that the body does not cannibalise muscle tissue THAT easily unless you’re not setting yourself up intelligently. So easy for people to forget the other pillars which support the foundations for their health & performance - adequate nutrition, sleep, recovery, load management and management of daily stresses

Thank you for the informative video. I have been training for quite awhile now but I've never have started creatine. Definitely going to look into this a bit more now. 2 things I've learnt today are: 1) If you're not taking creatine everyday, it doesn't mean there's no effect. It'll just take you longer to reach the peak saturation point. 2) Women with hypothalamic amenorrhea shouldn't be on a caloric deficit diet for too long. They should look into their nutrition and consider going on surplus instead. Thank you!
@excaliber98584 жыл бұрын
1.) I was always under the assumption that you had to take creatine everyday but never thought of how you could change its dosage when you reach the saturation point. Shout out to Omar Isuf the creatine junkie. 2.) I need to stop blaming my genetics. I control my eating and my training more than most guys I know, but I haven't been completely honest with myself as I have shown little regard in terms of getting adequate sleep and managing stress. Thanks for opening up my eyes.

1) creatine (creatine monohydrate) is important. 3-5 grams once per day for 4 weeks?Before or after workout?with full or empty stomach?with water or with which way creatine is assimilated by the body? 2) mini aggressive diets can be beneficial for a strict period of time (how much it should be ?)or a set period of time and it is going to create a certain response probably fat loss,in that period of time.Also you have to train intelligently and you gave sufficient protein No to crash diets which based purely from emotional reasons and they don't have a plan 3) Tracking macros and calories is important 4)hypothalamic amenorrhea from stress in your body from overtrainig,caloric deficit for too long time and aggressively ,not good sleep But the same can happen to men in a way, so all men and women have to pay attention for the above 4) Genetics play a role but we shouldn't worry about them. Genetics don't change the basic physiology of how building muscle works,fat loss work,the importance of sleep... 5)Fasting is good but with enough protein and not for a long time (1.66 grams per kilogram body weight) This amount of protein is for "full"(i an sorry for this explanation) bodyweight or lean bodyweight ?Does it matter if you are a man or a woman or does any factor play a role at your ammount of protein ,and if too much protein causes any problems?and when we have "overprotein" ; 6)Supplementation should be personalized Your videos are always welcomed Thanks

Mini cut is very effective for fat loss, if you dont abuse it and go on a long diet. Personaly will go on 4-5 week mini cut, ussualy before summer time. But good Lord is it ever mentaly draining. When hunger becomes hard to overcome and you start loosing patience because all you can think about is that next meal. Its a challenge. Low carbs quantity at lunch but plenty of veggies. More carbs for dinner. Every single meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with veggies and protein. No snaking only a banana or protein shake at 3:15pm. Nothing more simple, in my opinion. Breakfast : 1 egg, 1 apple sliced with a bit of peanut butter. Neither eating dairy (cheese on bolonese of course I do), no pig flesh. Can creatine be taken long term or more of a short term supplement? Thank you sir 🙏.

I learned that you can take creatine for only four days however with that you do get results a little longer since it isn’t 6 days a week, I didn’t think that womens menstrual cycle had a factor for their lifting other than you know getting in the way when they lift or if they can even lift when on it, also what are the amount of hours of sleep should we be aiming for maximum recovery and muscle growth

Hi coach, thanks for the great content again. If you don't mind me asking, what do you think about ashwagandha when it comes to its fitness benefits? P.S. love that t-shirt

Thank you! I think it is relatively well researched but doesn't hold a TON of benefits above lifestyle changes

I stopped taking creatine as I started pulling muscles during high intensity karate training. First my hamstring then a few weeks later my groin. Never pulled these muscles ever doing the same training. Stopped the creatine and this phenomenon ceased. Any thoughts?
