Yes, they sure can. With Dennis's limited time off, most of our trips end up taking place over weekends right now. But hopefully someday son we'll be able to figure out a way to travel WHILE he's working so we can go on more week long trips. That's our goal!

So true. Expectations for ourselves, others, and experiences can definitely tarnish what could otherwise be a perfectly pleasant adventure. We're enjoying the new canopy. We need to show everyone how quickly it goes up. The lights take some time but the canopy is quick and easy. We love it!

Great video! Yes stress free is always the goal. It does lessen with a smaller rig. But still stressful at times. We each have our own tasks and we get to them when it’s time. Same with the kayak loading and unloading. Seems to work for us. Sometimes we overlap and hopefully never underlap. Lol. And we check each other’s work and we try not to take it personal. Double checking is always good. 😀

You're so welcome. I'm not sure a stress free trip is something ANYONE can master but it's nice to minimize the stress as much as possible so we don't come home more keyed up than when we left.

Hi Dennis and Michelle 👋🏻 I’m Teresa from the UK and have been quietly following your channel from the start, I love the way you guys are together and the adventures you have with your TearDrop. We have a largish caravan but sometimes wish for something smaller, however, with small grandchildren think we may wait until they don’t want to come out with Nan and Grandad anymore 😉. Regarding short or long stays, I think at the moment I have to say long stays or at least 3 or 4 nights. Look forward to your next vlog. 😀

We prefer longer trips. Weekend trips can be too hectic and over so quickly. To reduce stress travel to a location that is very close. Maybe even precook some meals.

Great tips! Yes, we have been precooking meals and that's a huge help. You're right that weekend trips can be stressful. Right now, we're forced to take mostly weekend trips because of Dennis's job but we're hoping to be able to have him do some work on the road at some point in the near future. We do have an 8 day trip to the UP in about a week and we're super excited about that. We're hoping to see some fall color! Thanks so much for stopping by. We really enjoy watching your channel!
