thank you for explaining the EQ. Do you recommend EQing the raw vocal first and than adding autotune -> effects etc. or Auto-tune than EQ & Compress?
@busyworksbeats11 ай бұрын
Autotune first , then the rest

What other reverbs would anyone recommend to get that room effect? I use Ableton and have access to Valhalla VintageVerb, Waves plugins and RC 24/48.

Check the L/R levels and adjust if you have too + add some bass or mud to the vocal around 200-400hz but no too much

I got an email from you the other day asking what kind of video I wanted to see. I want to see another video like this, except I'd like for you to 1) buy the Scarlett Solo Studio bundle from Focusrite. 2) Go to a hotel room or remove all of your acoustic treatment so that you are in the same environment that probably 90% of your subscribers are in 3) Make a beat in FL Studio 4) Create a song & record it inside the acoustically untreated room with the gear 5) mix & master the song using the headphones that came in the bundle and show us the results. We need the " how to mix vocals if you're gonna record with budget gear in an unproperly treated room tutorial " because I'm poor. I saved the money to buy the bare minimum stuff needed to record, mix & master. After watching this video it just made me feel like I'm wasting time learning how to mix when I should be spending time and money making sure I have quality gear & a top tier vocal booth at home. Like I don't have a U87 or a treated room or any outboard gear so how am I supposed to apply what you're teaching when I have to do things like use noise reduction plugins or use mic modeling & preamp plugins to compensate for what I don't have in terms or gear & room treatment. Like we never see you guys mixing with these factors at play. Sorry for the long comment & I plan on leaving this comment on all your upcoming video until we get the video. I'll even send you my gear, to save you some money lol.

Its 2023. Youll loose subs for this cause there isnt anything special here fr. Yo arent even mixing to a 2 track beat...man...
@allaroundentertainment723011 ай бұрын
Bruh what? He helped me learn alotta knew tricks i never woulda learned on my own. U got 306 subs and got nerve to call urself a producer lol hatin is at an all time high in 2023
@khoivinh340211 ай бұрын
BusyWorkBeats could have 2-track beat and mix the vocal track with it ( at least people could know what it sounds like when other instruments engaging). Also stuff he teaches in this video is crucial...techically in general.

That comment begs the question: Why are you here then? I'm willing to bet I have a great many more years on you in life and I can tell you for a fact that there is always something new to learn. Your lesson today would be to open up your closed mind.
@TRBBB9639 ай бұрын
@@SpeccyManI agree sir! Because yes BWB has made plenty of beginner videos but we must understand that he is learning as time goes by as well. So there are ways he can teach us now that he couldn’t have taught us back then

When u in that stage of advancing that’s when u mess with different things yourself, find a new way to do something and u might mess around and figure out a new unique sound that no one done yet and set a new trend
