Quick tip for you Karra, in logic you don't have to drag the effects down to make an empty space. It is actually possible to just drag it on top and Logic will fix it for you. Thanks for the video and your tips! :)

A great way to record backup vocals is to change the varispeed (tempo and pitch) to a different value and record with it changed. You can end up with some great results and hit notes that might be impossible otherwise. Also, be wary of using the same autotune settings on multiple vocal takes all at once, you can end up with MAJOR phase issues.

I personally don’t think there’s too many rules when it comes to that kinda stuff. When you’re tracking through a pre amp & compression the signal evens out pretty nicely so you can track louder without risking clipping

Probably because you haven’t applied cross fade on your audio. If you make random cuts in your audio recording it will generate clicks and pops in those parts.

Nope! I use the UAD console app to record with a vocal mix so that I can hear a semi finished sounding vocal going into my session!
