my xbox only loads the evolution dash and i only see launch disc and system settings i need help want to play my games

You need to copy the games to your HDD, the Xbox only has about 8gb of internal storage without a upgrade

So as I understand it, you can still keep the original Xbox dashboard, at least on the surface?

There is a custom dashboard that looks like the classic dashboard. Installing the stock one allows you to use features exclusive to the original, such as registering for xbl with insignia

I was looking into hard modding my Xbox but since this came out can you do the ram upgrade on this version of a soft modded system?
