for anyone wondering why it doesnt work, when you click change directory you have to find the physical lethal company game and hit open. it will try to load then you open the game through "modded" in the thunderstore app, not through steam, hope this helps for anyone confused

tried booting up with mods and it doesn't seem that any of the mods i added worked, i have all the required mods to run them (like BepInEx and LC API) but nothing boots up, the directory is correct, all mods are enabled, and i booted up lethal company with the "Modded" button in the thunderstore app edit: nvm lol quick fix, i restarted my computer and booted thunderstore in administrator mode and it worked

Hey I gotta question. After following all the directions in the video, when I go to click modded to start the game I get an error code saying "Failed to start modded" "The system cannot find specified file" I did everything including finding lethal company file and what not. If you having problems and the "Cannot find file" error pops up, click on "Change Steam Directory" and find the file where steam is on your computer and click on the Steam executable Edit: Spelling

From my experience downtowns LC API makes your mods not work and make it to where no one can join you so

It didn't work for me and when I tried joining lobbies the lil log-chat thingy repeatedly said something about "ShaderProgram unsupported" and how it could not be deleted cause of the jobified rendering(?). Anyway, I decided to simply delete all other files except the ones I could see in the video. (2:13) I really hope I didn't completely ruin the game now 😭

It depends on the type of mod you’re installing. From his previous guide he’s mentioned that certain mods are Host-Sided (i.e host only needs it to work) and some are Client-Sided (i.e everyone needs it to have it work) so just double check the notes/description of the mods you’re downloading to see if its Host or Client Sided.

Followed all of the instructions, but when I try to launch from the thunderstore I just get a "Cannot find file" error. I've moved the game file to the documents folder like some online recommendations but that didn't work, so I left it back where I found it. The game directory links to the application and so does the steam directory. Any help would be great.
