My son loves his WorkTunes. Thank you for making these videos so I can repair them. The speaker wires got pinched and although we were able to patch them it wasn't a perfect solution. Now I am going to replace the wire with the help of your videos.😊

Is there a way to make 3M WorkTunes stop saying bluetooth connected every 42 seconds when the music stops?

That's odd. Maybe reset the Bluetooth? Forget it, then reconnect?

My pair worked well for about a year and then the Micro USB port came loose and was rattling around inside the earcup. It meant that I could no longer charge. I was shocked to look up reviews of the set and see that this is a widespread problem, for many people it's this Micro USB flimsy connection that gives out. I am considering buying another pair because I don't know if there's any decent alternative, but I wish there was a way they could upgrade this connection or switch to USB-C

@@_wormlet I see, well the only problem I've heard it the speaker getting scratchy in one ear. With all that I've bought ( a lot) I've never had a problem other than that. That's weird.

The headband, gel ear seals and the sheepskin fur added, it increased the comfort.

I'm on my second pair of Worktunes like you're working on. The first pair the female charging connection went inside the headset. This time it's the charging cable end that has come apart. And this second one, the automatic shutoff takes a long time to shut off, if it even does at all, where the first pair it was within 5 minutes or so. And pausing the music is fine, but trying to get it restarted often takes 3-5 times pushing the button. I'm debating if I should buy another pair or if there's a more dependable model out there.

@@ButchHolladay even if the headsets stopped working, they're the most comfortable ones I've ever owned. My primary use is when mowing lawns I listen to The Word of Promise Bible.

@@ButchHolladay my headsets are black with a yellow line around the earphones. Since the Bible or iTunes is what I listen too, I've not thought I wanted one with a radio or too fancy of a headset. I do wear glasses but as yet not thought gels were necessary. I think you said you sleep with them on sometimes, I don't, I use Bose ear buds. Luckily I saved the charging cord from my first set, but for some reason it's not giving me a great connection. It's also shorter than the second pair I bought. I did hear on your video that I can use a standard Android charging cord, so that's good.

I have had my set of WorkTunes Connect for about 2 years now and I wear them almost every day for several hours. I love them. Recently however they started shutting off anytime the headphones get bumped, or when I put one side above my ear so I can hear things if I need to. My guess is that some connection is getting jostled when this happens, but I can't find anything in support forums to figure out how to fix it. Any ideas?

Mie used to work great. Now I cannot get them to work via bluetooth. Playing music on my smart phone used to be simple. Now says I am connected, and the worktunes also says bluteooth connected. Yet there is no sound coming through. AM and FM radio work fine. Any ideas?

May have to reset it, forget it on your phones bt and reconnect . Should also be a way to reboot it on yt.

can you provide the name of the second earphones you used for the donor headband and gel ear cushions and lamb fleece? And also can you provide the name of the head strap wrap you used? Can you give a link to where you got them?

Hey, I have some worktunes connect that have Bluetooth and gel padding that stopped charging. Any idea how I can open it up to see if there's anything wrong? It just won't charge :/

maybe change the charging cord. if not, send them back. They should replace them for you.

@@ButchHolladay oh, because I only had them for like a month or 2 when they broke and I've just been using them without Bluetooth at work because its WAY more comfortable then those damn ear plugs. It is something to do with the charging though, just not the cables I use for charging.
