@@maeday121 I did :) not a dumb question. The instructions say to not place it where you have window tint, but I didn’t want to have the EZPass transponder 10 inches down and obstructing my view. So yeah, it’s cool, as long as it works, and it works for me.

Idk if it's a different computer system in Washington, but there they recommend doing it below the tint strip bc it effects the ability for the system to read it... Not bitching at you, just trying to be helpful. Stay blessed

No worries my friend. My instructions said to place it below the tint strip. The snag is that my tint strip goes pretty low so I didn’t want to obstruct my view. I have not had any problems. Hope you have an awesome New Year!

Tint does affect it. They tell you to avoid putting it anywhere near the tint in the instructions.

I had to make the choice between placing it high in the tint or obstructing my view. I chose the former and have no regrets. No need to mount EZ pass on window. Just put pass on your dash with the writing down when approaching the ez pass toll. Had mine for years never had a problem with it.

I’ve never had a problem with it under the tint. I would have had a visual problem if I put it lower as it may have blocked my view. Thanks for watching!

Not quite sure what you are asking. If you want auto recharge, go to the EZ pass website and I think you can have your account auto reload with funds. All tolls are different prices so I don’t know how much you will be charged.

Did you buy it from a road side stop/gas station? If so, then yes you'll have to register it. If you purchased it directly from EZ Pass (i.e., E-Zpassny.com) then you are probably set up. I had to input my license plates, vehicle type, etc. EZ Pass sent my the transponder in the mail and all I had to do was mount it up! Let me know :) Thanks for watching and please subscribe.
