Just buy an extra set of magnets, they are cheap... place the body on the mounts (without the loose magnet), position the body, then add on the magnets to the body outside. They will lock onto the underside metal mounts. Now tape those outside mags in place. Remove the body, add the original mags to the underside where the outside mags are positioned, The two magnets will lock onto each other. Since I only own one chassis (but I like to swap bodies from time to time), I use Goop to attach and keep the underside mags in place, because no matter what type of tape I tried, it would not last long when temps outside started to get really warm. Anyway, once the Goop cures, remove the outside tape and mags. No need to worry about paint peeling off, because most bodies are painted from the inside. For me, I found that Goop does not damage the painted underside when using Tamiya paints, and that's why I went that route. As for when I swap bodies, I have extra body posts with mags mounts already on them (which are pre-adjusted and set up for each body style). It only takes me about a minute to swap over to the correct mounts for each of the body styles I own.
