How to mount ShredLights on an electric skateboard

In this video, I explain how to mount ShredLights to the Meepo V3 electric skateboard using the ShredLights standard mounts. In my last video, I made a mistake trying to use the standard mounts to fix my Sl-300s to my board. In that video I ended up using the flat mounts instead, but I wanted to show that the standard mounts can be used just as easily. So here's how it works!

Yeah the 300s are rock solid in there!

Yeah they’re SO good. I never had the 200s so I didn’t realise they weren’t as well secured, but the 300s are just class!

I believe so, but I haven’t had a chance to check out the voyager x yet. 😔😔 So I can’t be 100% sure. I’d double check with Meepo directly before making an order.

Do the trucks ever get "wheel bite" on the lights and like press into them when turning?

Hey Ben. No, I’ve never had wheel bite from the lights on either of my boards. I’ve got the Meepo V3 and the Meepo Shuffle S.

@@ronanhutchinson ah sweet, I have the meepo mini 2s so was wondering if it’s going to be a similar fit as urs. You said you use the flat mounts at the start of the video but then the standard ones flipped over by the end? Do you know which one would work best on the mini

I can’t be 100% sure what the best setup for the Mini 2S is. As far as I know, the mounts it shares the same trucks / motor setup as the V3. So either flat or stand mounts (flipped) front and back should work.
