I appreciate the attention to details in your videos. You don't skip over stuff or take short-cuts. And provide close up shots to clearly show what you're doing and how equipment is set up. Too many other video producers skip over steps or use distant or somewhat out of focus clips that really make it harder to see and understand what they're demonstrating. Keep up the good work!!

Thank you for the kind words. I try to make my videos to show what I would like to see if I were watching it. My setup is kind of messy right now, but I'll make a video showing it, so I can get feedback on how to make it better. It works, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Thanks for watching.

Does the washer and the rubber washer come with the pole?
@TomyTekOutdoors7 ай бұрын
The washers came with the transducer.

When ordering the pole. Does it come with the pole handle? Or is the pole handle a separate charge?

This comes with the handle. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for the support. I'm working on mounting Livescope to the transom of my boat now.
@2005PilotКүн бұрын
@@TomyTekOutdoors I ordered a trolling motor transom mount for the DIY pole. I plan on mounting it to the side of my Pond Prowler. Did your livescope come sealed (factory taped) in it’s box? Thanks!

Show us a wiring setup for the hobie with the livescope and Garmin Head.

That's coming up soon. The challenge I have is making it removable, so I can also use it in my boat. I think I have something figured out.

Have you been using the Livescope with that Nocqua 10Ah Battery? I read it would take more than that to run the Livescope and Echomap as Garmin recommends to run both units off one battery.
@TomyTekOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
I end up buying an Amped Outdoors 18ah battery that I will be using for Livescope only. I will be using the 2 Nocqua 10ah batteries for the 94SV only. I'll share my complete setup once I get everything installed. I'm trying to make everything removable, so I can use it between my kayaks, boats, and canoe. Thanks for watching.
@BluPrynt783 жыл бұрын
There’s another YTer that runs his whole setup with Nocqua batteries. He says that 4 batteries pretty much last all day. I’m currently running my 106sv on 2 Nocqua’s. Once I get my LiveScope installed and on the water I’ll report back about the Nocqua’s.

Can you possibly put a bixpy on that mount?
@TomyTekOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Great question. This could be a potential option to mount the Bixpy Jet up front to the h-rail. I would be a little concerned about putting that much torque on the h-rail and if the RAM ball would hold at high speeds. I'll look into this and let you know.

Do not buy the cheap 3d printed ram mount it sucks and really bulky. The pole and quick disconnect is great, mine as perspective angle to on the quick disconnect attachment.
@TomyTekOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
I'm been pretty happy with this setup so far. Which brand mount are you using? I'm always looking for better ways to use this.
@101dragonsthe3 жыл бұрын
I'm using the summit pole mount with the 6" ram and 1.5" ball. The summit mount on the pole is bulky and the tiny thumb screws don't hold very well. I would like the aluminum pontoon system but it's not retractable and plus I will use this pole for ice fishing.
