be strategic to do so. Tip 1: apply as much as possible 1:40 decision is skewed. suit your skillset. know your perspective. experience is key idea. Tip 2: divisions matter - some division has direct links to the front office. (which is client-facing and generate revenue) front office includes: sales role in AM, IBD, SnT. prioritize the divisions as operation and risk. they work very closely with AM and Sales Trading floor. 4:20 its possible. if you‘re in back office, knows the firm culture and system. Tip 3: outperform the year group. give them reasons to choose you. put your head and when the opportunity comes, you can grab it. Tip 4: internal mobility - intranet or intra web. networking is vital. 8:10 meet people from division you're interested in and meet people from division you're not that interested in - because the interest might be piqued. Most important tip: you have the right skillset.

Haha I'm working in risk management division right now and I can confirm that I work with IB and especially retail division a lot. A lot of junior employees from back office like risk and strategic have gone to front office due to vacancy or simple job rotation. I'm also scheduled to move to retail next year. I'm glad I joined risk division since I learn shitton here. It's a perfect role to learn stuff in a big picture since we work with almost every division.

Hey Afzal, I’m a second year Accounting & Finance student in Glasgow. It is not always easy to obtain spring week or internships from Scotland thus, I want to make the most of every opportunity open to me. Winning the Asset Manager in a Box bundle would help a lot to develop my employability skills as well as making LinkedIn profile standout. Thank you again for the help you are providing us. You are amazing!

I'd like to win the Asset Manager in a Box as I believe the course would equip me with the necessary skills to succeed as a future portfolio manager. As a person who isn't studying finance but is very interested in the finance industry, I need help with my technical knowledge and I'm certain that AM in a Box will fulfil that role!

Hi Afzal, I hope you are well. I wanted to choose the Asset Manager course because I want to develop a good understanding of the topic. I am currently a student studying International Business currently in my placement year, my interest specifically to Asset Management grew for the past 4 months as I started building my own portfolio. Being an International Student at a UK university, I was not confident to apply to the big banks for the placement year. (kinda regretted it now) Luckily, I secured a placement which really boosts my confidence, allows me to grow transferable skills which are important and useful to be applied in Asset Management Role at Investment Banks. I would like to make the most of my placement year, to build a good foundation for this role which is what I'm after upon completing my degree next year. Many thanks :)

I graduate soon in Economics - majoring Finance. Due to exchange programs i couldn’t do more than one internship. The Asset Management course of FE.training would strengthen my practical experience side and increase the likelihood of securing invites for interviews in my „goal companies“. I also want to see if the courses are as good as expected.

Hey Afzal, I'd love to win the 'Investment Banker in a Box' training as I have a keen interest in becoming an investment banker. I have recently graduated from university with a degree in finance, however, I do not have any experience through, internships or placements. This is making it extremely hard for me to compete in the job market. While I have actively tried to research and learn about the field in my own time, I know this course will give me the necessary skills and knowledge to help me to stand out and achieve my dream job! Thanks for the awesome and informative videos as always!

Hey Afzal, I'm not going to write long paragraphs on why I need the Investment Banker in a Box" because I tried doing that on the last couple of videos but it didn't happen. So I have no hopes on this one too but I'm just taking my chance. I have shifted to US for my masters in India with the dream of making it to the Wall Street and I don't know if I have it in me. The self doubt is getting stronger each day. You have a good day! Regards, Ankit

I have secured a few interviews for spring weeks in 2020 and to be able to say I am working towards an industry recognised qualification should hopefully show the interviewers I am committed and intrigued to such an industry. Keep up the great work!

Hi Afzal, thanks for the video and the giveaway, honestly great stuff. I need your advice on something real quick please: - I have a grad. scheme offer from Barclays Customer Banking Solution (innovating clients products to facilitate their transaction), however, no exams is being completed in this grad. scheme. This scheme offers a salary of £X - I also have two offers, from EY and Deloitte, both in audit, which means I will be completing my ICAEW exams. These schemes offer a salary of £(X-6000) Do you have any advice on which may be the best option? Also, I would like to participate to the Asset Manager in a box, because my little sister wants to get into asset management and I believe it will truly give her a sound understanding of the in's and outs of asset management. Thanks Afzal.

I would also be able to recommend it to my network if I feel that it would benefit them as well, after going through it myself. Warmest Regards, Yu Ren. (@chewyuren) www.linkedin.com/in/chewyuren/
