I did select these items and yet I still have 75 gigabytes of photos, whereas I have 20,000 photos and 1,000 videos, so less than you. This iCLOUD storage is incomprehensible. Because if you delete a photo to free up storage, it gets deleted from icloud. I pay a 10 euro subscription and I have no storage available.

It could be other apps taking up space. Look at what apps are taking up space. For me it was Apple TV and Netflix. Old downloads. Deleted the downloads.

You ran out of iPhone storage. I suggest turning on Optimize iPhone Storage if you haven't already. When your iPhone storage is full, it can't take in any more photos or videos, thus not allowing you to sync any new photos or videos since they can't get into your phone storage anyways.

Yes and storage builds up quick and you even get to pay additional money per month for additional storage. Not only they you get to have the company make copies of your personal photos to keep in their own personal storage device.

Great video. TY. I also realized I had a lot of things taking up space like my Apple TV app had 10GB being used. Netflix had like 6GB used. Went on the apps and deleted any old downloads. Made a huge difference. Freed up so much.

You clearly explained how Apple iCloud works. This from Apple is a wrong logic, not designed for the majority of users in the world. This approach OPTIMIZE the sync process. It does not MOVE.... and as most of the comments here say, there is a moment when this logic stuck when the optimized sync has no space...
