Definitely. All obsessing aside, my precious Scorpio from back then, they did show me the person I wanted to be. Not only is my Pluto in Scorpio, but I also have the north node in the 8th. The obscure, the occult, the mysterious, death... that's what my soul chose to work out this lifetime, apparently. That's a merit that will remain for as long as I live, and it also means I wasn't completely mind-sick. There was a part of soulmatehood that was genuine and true. We did call each other good friends after all, probably not without a reason.

What was helpful to me: was building meaningful connections and friendships with other people. And being in a band: being in a weekly creative, joyful process with other people, so I would be out of that other place for a while and be reminded that there is more. And having a life and self affirming goal to work towards: for me that was writing my own music and making that into an album: to project and collect my own specialness: my own Voice, into a place, and hearing it myself and sharing it with other people. The worst is when they have their pluto aspecting all of your personal planets but your pluto doesn't aspect any of their's. It is so unrequited and heartbreaking. I used hypnosis therapy to cut the ties with my ex. In the hypnosis session I asked him to forgive me for every misdeed ai had done, and then I forgived him (in hypnosis) for what he did to me. And with the help of an angels sword of fire I cut the cords between us. It was SO relieving! I felt lighter afterwards, it was almost physical. I've done a lot of what you said as well (new hair color, loosing weight, moving to another place...) and it really helps. But you need to cut that cord and to forgive to be able to heal properly. I'm a heavy weight Scorpio/8th house type and I don't let go easily.

I found that looking at it from a psychological perspective works and trying to remain objective. Throwing yourself into something really helps as all that pent up energy is looking for an outlet and your minds so focused on your love situation; there needs to be balance mentally. Self love meditations, rituals, prayer, crying, self love, self acceptance, mindfulness, distractions, laughing, being thankful, attitude of gratitude, self honesty, aura cleansing baths, change hair colour and style, exercise, give something up like smoking to practice mental self control, positive affirmations, journal writing. I could probably go on but I think the point is about distraction and if it's something positive then it's win win all the way. Self love and forgiveness is the gem in all of this. Being honest that it's really just an obsession and ego based although painful helps you to realise it starts and is healed within you...you have to let yourself off the hook and know there's approx 7 billion other chances at love (lol) and you deserve to be happy. However really you are in control of your own happiness and it's true what you said in your Venus conjunct Pluto video, it's about what you can give and not what you can get. Insecurely grasping or longing for the other person to heal a part of ourselves we can heal ourselves. Maybe it's about turning the obsession inwards. Maybe it's really all about self acceptance, seeing what drives us and whether it's healthy and re-channeling into something more positive and as always in everything self love. I have Pluto conjucnt Venus in Libra and dated a guy with the same placement in Scorpio, for 2 months. We split up following an uncovering of a secret and his immaturity (I'm trying not to be bitter lol). However we work together, so it's a challenge! But it's been 1 month now and I've learnt so much. Many years ago I was in relationship like this. My ex sun is trine to my pluto. And my ex sun is in pieces and my pluto is in scorpio. And it has been very painfull for me to move on from this relationship because I was almost obsessed with my ex. I was always thing about him it was like I put my own life hold. I have a Libra sun, Scorpio Venus and moon in cancer with Pluto in Scorpio 😬😬😬 Anyone I meet that is a year or two older gives my sun conjunct their Pluto. I’ve had so many of these. The worst one was 5 years ago. It was an internal street fighter to move away from this obsession, to do it, I had to make daily conscious choices and habits with strict discipline to shift my focus on to move away. It was not easy much like giving up a heroin addiction. I wish I had seen this content back then. The tips mentioned are helpful, i can say each time gets easier, we get to know ourselves and realise when we are engaged in power games. The best advice I can give anyone is to drop the rope. You are playing a game or tug-of-war with yourself. You look silly, the object of your affection can see this, have some dignity and move on. You’re the only one playing your game. The road is long and in the end you’re only playing against yourself.

I have a few strong Pluto aspects but also very strong Neptune aspects that I believe dominate more, so I have had these relationships all of my life including those with family members. Most recently, I 'escaped' (what a choice of words, lol) from a Plutonic relationship with a person with 5 planets in the eighth house and stronger Pluto placements than myself. It was a whirlwind!! But because of my Pluto, I also helped him see parts of himself as well. He says that 'he learned so much about himself from me' and that I was his unofficial therapist. He taught me how much I end up in codependent relationships and that includes family and friends...I am still working on healing that within myself. My Neptune energy wants me to focus on others and help them first. So, long story short, I moved back to my home country, changed jobs and am now focusing on painting, meditation and Reiki, which is helping. I can't even talk to my best friends about these feelings because they automatically seem to think I'm crazy. I've been focused in on this other person for a few years now, ever since I met him. We come from completely different social groups, he's almost 10 years older than me, and he's an alcoholic (Venus/S. node in Pisces). It's stupid. I know it's stupid. But I still hope that one day he will at least admit that he feels what I feel because to me it's so strong. It feels fated; very karmic. I didn’t think I was actually a plutonic person because I don’t have any major planets in Scorpio. But then i learned my chart ruler is my 8th house cancer Jupiter. I have to admit that I think I am in the early stages of a Pluto obsession (I am still bit confused if I am for certain). Last year I connected with a man on a social network site. We felt immediately attracted to each other and have many common interests. He lives overseas from me and we have not met yet, but both plan to at some point. I have never felt this way about another person...EVER. It's such a weird and compelling feeling that I still cannot wrap my brain around it. I came to discover that we have many Pluto contacts (his Pluto square my Venus, my Pluto conjunct his Moon, his Pluto conjunct my Uranus in the 1st house, his Pluto Sextile my Moon and Trine my Mars). I am constantly thinking about him, fantasizing about him, looking at his pictures. This is VERY unlike me as I have always remained a bit detached in relationships (Venus in Aqua). Had this in synastry with a person my age - sun square Pluto which he had natally. My Saturn on his Venus (retrograde) which he also had natally. In addition to much happy awesome synastry. He was like sunshine for me. Still working to move on after ten months post end. It was beyond brutal to lose that warmth. Can I just say that you literally described how I feel? It's been 3 yrs and I feel isolated from others and dead inside. I left but I still think about her and she is still thinking about me. I have moon sq Pluto and Scorpio rising. I was going through my Saturn return and my husband refused to give me validation for my neediness. It tore us apart. I wish I could say that we worked it out in the end but no. Once I realized it was both him and me, I divorced him. I've been single since. I still have the need to latch onto people but I'm doing it in healthier ways. I want to be honest about my insecurities up front when I feel them. I'm being vulnerable with friends and family. I claiming my opinions and needs. I'm not asking people to fill that void once they know. They can choose to be supportive but if they choose not to then it's on me to self sooth. I have been studying astrology for over 30 years and should have known better. I do a lot of synastry and composite charts for people and have never seen such a disaster waiting to happen as my chart and his. 6 yods according to astro-charts, but one exact within a degree (pluto, venus, Jupiter). Pluto sextile venus in the composite. In synastry pluto conjunct mars (1 deg), Moon trine pluto (2 deg), pluto opposite ascendant and pluto square sun. We have lots of wonderful sextiles and trines but a Saturn square venus in both composite and synastry. My life and his have been turned upside down for the last 8 years. It ended 1 year ago, but still causes horrendous pain (we work together and are thrown across each others paths every month or so). The only thing that gets me through is being grateful for the spiritual growth it has afforded me… and hope that one day it will be less painful.

I hated to watch this video months ago and i hate seeing it now. Wish i never met this person. So painful to want someone so bad but they only run in and out of your life giving attention onlybwhen they are ready, but super nice and sweet but can never be together. Getting back into my body and moving on is so hard. Some days i do well, other days i get lost in time. All i need is the wrong/right trigger to knock me off of my path of wakening recovery only to get snatched back down underground.I'm so much better than i was a year ago...making the choice to go no contact as long as i can until some business situation comes up and I need his services or our paths meet. When we end up at the same venue he is not and heavy and tempting. I've tried running off and disappearing but he finds me. Hard to turn him away. An ongoing sad painful love affair (harmonious and tense Pluto aspects) with short moments of sweetness (Neptune sextile mercury/sun). Hard Saturn aspects reflected in our synastry and composite charts keep us from coming together long term. I used to think that Saturn was a bad thing but im beginning to think it is a blessing in disguise.

He and I both have a lot of Pluto and we are within a small age gap, soo... To not have a plutonic relationship I would need to find someone a lot older or younger than me. I have done cord cutting during separation but apparently not good enough, and during a shamanic healing while we were separated, apparently "his penis was pulled out of my vagina" energetically. The energy healer said he's only had to do that one other time and it was with an abusive relationship. Well, that wasn't good enough to keep us apart either but it did help me to feel myself again. Ours is not abusive, but it is a lot of Pluto. Plus he is my naturopathic doctor and DC. I'm staying in the relationship, but still working on refocusing my Pluto, as you suggest. Ok here's my story, lol remember you asked. During this time Pluto was transiting Venus sextile, moon trine, Mercury-Chiron-MC square. 2 year relationships, best sex of my life, deep intellectual conversation, sexy slow dancing. And he was highly manipulative, verbally abusive, etc. His pluto cunjunt my sun, sextile ascendant, square and Saturn nodes, trine Jupiter, square Lilith...all within 1-3 degree. And his pluto was 6 degrees from sun/moon midpoint. Well I took ayahuasca and I knew "I, me, my soul, that thing at the center of my being" was not put here to be tormented. 48 hours after the Aya ceremony I packed my car and left, and moved 1200 miles away. It still took me 8 months to fully extract myself from him. After 6 months I picked someone I intuitively knew would be fantastic in bed, and he was, even better than mr. Pluto. One night stand. That really helped. Then I really researched narcissistic recovery. That helped. But honestly it was his pulling on my Saturn in Cancer conjunct south node that felt very much like the abuse my mother did inflict on me. So one year after left him I went NC with my mother. Which I wish I would have done 30 years ago when family services said she was unfit to be my mother. Oh well But now I feel like I have a super power. I can experience ANY pull or obsession and I can LET IT GO. And I have a couple times since. I'm thankful for the relationship because I feel like I'm finally free, maybe from lifetime of repeating cycles (Saturn in cancer conjunct south node-square sun conjunct Pluto in libra....I was probably the controlling mother in previous incarnations).
