I remember my favorite villager (Aurora) told me that she wanted to move out and I was much younger when she asked me this and I was so conflicted cause I wanted her to stay but I also wanted her to be happy and if she wanted to move then she should move. So I did and I loaded the game back up today and she is back in my town in the exact place she was back in 2013. (So much time has passed)

That's why amiibo support is my absolute favorite thing that was added to the game!! All you need to do is scan an amiibo and if you already have 10 villagers you can just decide who leaves. So easy, I love it so much!

Chelsea N. You just have to have the Amiibo Cards of the Villagers that you want in your town and then speak to the ghost in the lamp that you get in the beginning of the game. If you hold down your amiibo card you can choose if that villager should move into your town or if you want to get an item from them! It’s really easy

hello, i have a question. does anyone know if scanning in a villager with an amiibo card and asking them to move in can override the 16 villager cycle rule? for example, i moved out ankha since her home location was pretty bad. only a couple of villagers have moved out since she did, so i definitely wouldn't be able to even ask her to move back in while she's in boxes in another town because of the 16 villager rule. what i'm wondering is if scanning in her amiibo card completely ignores that rule so that she could already move back in. i feel like it should work, considering that an amiibo card is technically a paid "accessory" for the game, so the player should be able to get what they want with it, yknow? but if anybody can confirm, that'd be rad. thank you

You know you don't have to time travel to move out an unwanted villager, you can ignore them, never talk to them or anything. The animals have a "Being Wanted" trait and if you ignore them they won't feel wanted and will move

I've had ACNL for a really long time, so I've realized this - Villagers are more likely to want to move out if they're close to you than if you're ignoring them. I know this because I've had terrible luck with villagers, but I could be completely wrong..

Actually once you find out a villager is planning to move it's better to continue ignoring them since they might decide to change their minds if you talk to them, even if you tell them to leave. You don't need them to tell you about their plans to leave for them to actually leave so ignoring them doesn't come with the risk of them changing their minds.

In my experience, make sure to talk them them once every week. When town is full, a villager should ask to move every 10 days or so. It will be random, but as long as you talk to the villager once a week, they will have the ability to come up to you and say they want to move. If they change their mind, just quit without saving

This was the only solution to move Timbra out of my town, she was the first villager ever to move in, and was already one year (almost two now) with me, and she would always change her mind and stay. It's tryicky because sometimes she would say something like "ok I'm moving out on the X day" and no matter what I choose, she goes "sike, you love me too much for me to leave", so I had to pull out this trick to get her out and hope she wouldn't fool me again. It worked wonders, now I can place Savannah's house in there

I had a villager move right into this campround/garden area I spent a lot of hard work and time on, and where the villager's house had completely ruined it l. So, every day I would search for them and hit them with my net, but sometimes I'd accidentally talk to them and got too close- so that was tricky (and I felt pretty bad!) but eventually they moved away and I was able to fix my area! I put a town project in that went with my scheme and to prevent any other villagers from moving there again. So far so good.

Super late but dont loose hope. Normally it cycles the villagers. Just completely ignore the villager u want to move out. Every start of the day, prioritize getting a ping from that villager in hopes he will say that it'll move out. Theres a guide online for that u can look up

A good way for villagers to move for non time travelers is to befriend the person you want to move. Do this constantly until they request to move. After you agree to them moving, stop talking to them to prevent them changing their mind. Then wait till the day comes for them to leave and boom! They are gone.

I just started playing Animal Crossing New Leaf, and here are the villager's I got. 1. Kiki 2. Pierce 3. Cole 4. Agent S 5. Broffina +3 Villager's that moved in! 1. Octavian 2. Shari 3. Tex ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I absolutely DESPISE Cole, Broffina, and Tex; so this tutorial really did help me, and I'm very glad I was able to rid of those 2. Thank you for the amazing video, mischa!

I remember watching this a long time ago and I used this method up until recently. I have found a quicker method that works for me. My method is to talk to the villager 2 or 3 times every couple of days and that seems to do the trick. They move out a lot faster this way for me

I've been trying to move out Cheri and Punchy for TWO YEARS! They're great villagers just they're in horrendous spots. My game is weird and for the past two years the same three villagers have attempted to leave each time. It's like some horrible curse.

I'm a fan of the original Animal Crossing for the Gamecube, and I honestly dislike the horizon spinning aspect of changing acre to acre. It just feels so wrong to me. The top down shifting one acre at a time just feels right to me. It feels nice and comfy. I guess that's just me. I revisit my old town every once in a while when I'm bored to keep the maintenance up. I love that game.

I just started a new town recently because 2 villagers moved in my old town. One of them lived right next to the a Town Hall, and the other went near the Plaza. But what's even worse my most hated villager Ricky was in my new town but I liked the layout of my map and had planned out where to put my house, public works projects, etc. I've been doing the same things you said but he won't move. And I've time traveled to 2050 😂
