Thanks for explaining the naming process. My professor just told us to memorize the strong acids and didn't give an explanation as to how or why they were named as such. I deduced on my own the Binary Acids but I couldn't figure out the pattern for the Oxyacids. I really appreciate it!

Why don't you use the prefix "hydro-" with the oxyacids? You did with the binary acids previously, so I'm a little confused.
