Hi, in Spain they are called Rotonda. Thanks for these very instructive videos, I'm planning to go to USA this summer and it's very useful to understand some differences on how driving is there in comparison with my country.

Yield and stop in any round about is pretty much an accident to happen in my opinion. Here in Qatar whether one, two or three lanes round about, you should stop/slow down before entering because cars that are already inside the circle have the right of way. Inner lane should always be used by traffic going left or U turn. Middle straight or left and right straight or right.

In most of New England, "rotary" is the term, short for "rotary junction". 99% of them give the right-of-way to people already in the rotary, but there are some here and there where the traffic _entering_ the rotary actually has the right-of-way, so you have to keep watch of the signs to be sure which type you're at. They're also marked differently than the ones in your video. When you're _in_ the rotary, a straight ahead arrow indicates that the lane goes to the next exit, whereas they use a _left_ arrow to indicate that the lane can continue around the rotary. It's a little bit different, but if you think about it, you're steering left to continue around, and more or less straightening out to take an exit, so it makes sense. When you're _approaching_ the rotary, the signs and arrow markings are taking the entire thing into account so that you can choose the correct lane and not need to change lanes once you're in the rotary. You can see an example of a pretty standard layout for a New England rotary here: goo.gl/maps/SGRXhjG6928PnXUc6

2;40 a stop sign slows people down...but you didnt even slow down and stop at that 4 way intersection at 2:29
@sadbeautifultragic0132 ай бұрын
2:30 is not a 4-way intersection 😜 It’s an uncontrolled intersection. You can see she scanned the intersection; there were no other cars, so she was able to safely turn left.
