I can break this down. Most people get beat block from overthinking. You have to "Think" to not come up with nothing. When you play what you feel you draw/play what you feel. Don't overthink on sound selections, Ideas or Rhythm and your set. This is why producers like rly Beats, and the greats can make beats after beats because they not thinking to hard. DONT think just create. Sitting on a sound or skipping 1000 sounds to get to one is part of overthinking. I find whats sounds hot. Boom idea goes down

This tutorial went crazy! Sometimes all it takes is some good sounding chords. Some melody sauce is if you also mess with the timing of the chord progression itself as opposed to having each chord take up 1 bar.
