It just so happened that one of my lower pressure seal took a nose dive and I had to replace some internal parts on my cat pump. My question is this. If I take that hose and run it into a buffer tank and put a plug into the water inlet is this going to ruin my internal seals on my pump. I think yesterday was a coincidence but you never know. That’s a nice job. I love the way you admit to not being a climber. I’m 240 pounds 6’2” and unfortunately I pretty much only get calls for tile roofs. I can’t walk them because it’s just too damn risky. I am always looking for ideas and things to make it happen without getting on the trash tile roofs. Question: Do guys in your business get on the roof to show the customer you're working hard up there or is there a legitimate reason to walk around up there, visibility or scrubbing etc? BC I was thinking if there was a big job or something, if a bucket truck rental would be just as good. I have no idea though as to I have never did it. What are your thoughts?

Getting those trucks into high end properties is impossible with land elevation and landscape. Most of the time it’s just easier to get the ladder and knock it out. We’re not paid based on how long we’re there so we don’t care about “looking like we’re working” we care about results, quality and speed.

I use a articulated bucket truck everyday. With adequate pump, and nozzle, and you're bucket, there's not much you can't do. I work in area's with multi-multi millionaires and haven't had any trouble in 6 years. If you can afford the bucket it'll make you money one way or the other.
