I would wear that big chunky scarf instead of a big coat on my trip for winter sun in December, I don't sleep the night before I fly so I am so tired and will sleep all the way on the plane that scarf would be on the plane with me and I would get under it as a blanket and it looks big enough for my DH to get under it too.! It would also be useful if there are no throws for the sofa and I need to snuggle up in the evening. I like you in the brown hat and the leopard hat!

You are inspiring to motivate to sort clothing out to get rid of clutter that is never used. Sometimes they have tags so it can be hard but knowing you are not and will not wear something get rid of it. The hard part is getting help to tote it all away to recycling.

Lovely and very timely ~ motivates me to do the same! I like the Fairsle pattern chunky sweater ~ With shorter sleeves, I wear recycled cashmere wrist warmers to bridge the gap if it is chilly; I have several colours. I also like the navy H & M dress. As a generation that was taught by my mother to always wear a full petticoat (or waist slip and cami), I wear thinner fabrics throughout winter and still stay toasty 🙂. They also give a good 'foundation' for any clothes.

I agree with you about the Fairisle sweater. 3/4 length sleeves are the best when you are eating, washing your hands every 15 minutes etc. if it's cold, wear longer gloves or mittens.

I’d have kept the Fair Isle sweater and worn it with a white or navy long sleeved cotton T Shirt or thermals. But you have to draw the line somewhere I guess.

Quite funny I too have too many clothes from QVC (which I have not really ever worn much at all) which will now have to go! I could start a secondhand shop with the amount of clothes that I need to de-clutter🤣. Hopefully it will benefit some local charities or go for clothes recycling.

When I worked I would have been the first to suggest decluttering was essential in respect of work things so there’s no reason to hold back in respect of clothing.

Btw, the long curtain skirt used to be an office skirt with red heels. The pic of me in it was after a leg operation when i had to wear flat shoes and cover my legs comfortably. It did the job, but the pic ended up in the video as i didn't have a pic of my usual heeled shoe look.

You are better suited to summer colors minus lavender. Winter bright colors are great depending on the undertone. Taupe and gray are aging colors for you. Cream beige is also good for you. I enjoy your videos even though I am currently overweight, so some styles are not for me. The best takeaway I’ve learned is the one-third--two third idea and fitted with not fitted. Thank you.
