I was fishing for driftwood with my mythical rod, with hasty and magnet bait, I fished up 1500 fish and didn't even get 1 normal driftwood, I recommend appraising driftwood, it took me around 400k to get a mythic one update: I think I got really lucky, the second time I tried appraising for the mythical driftwood, it took me 1.4mil+, its really time or money, the devs really need to do smth about this

I think this update is amazing except for the crafting mechanic, although its cool I think needing level 750 just for a slightly better rod is absolutely absurd. I think if they just made it so you didnt need levels to unlock recipes it would be a lot better. Leveling up is literally the least fun thing to do in this game besides appraising. but at least thats more unpredictable.

Wow. I just realized that in order to craft these rods, you need to be a certain level in the game and I can only get up to the riptide rod. I’m starting to understand why nobody wants to get to Ancient Archives now. Getting there is already a struggle, the crafting is somewhat difficult, you need to be a certain level in order to actually get the rods, and.. Sorry to be *that* guy, but the trident is still better than all of the new rods. Rod of the forgotten fang is just an alternative king’s rod.

Something to note is that if you were level 500, You need 23 MILLION Exp alone to get to level 750, So this would be like going from level 0 to level 500 ALMOST 2 TIMES

Debatable Tip for moonwood: fish in between Herring and Pollock spot at snowcap. from my experience I fish them up during normal day somehow fairly quick and I used hasty relic rod.

Hi CarbonMeisterPlays just want to share this theory of mine. I've seen a pool that is like sparkling rainbow and some players gets some mythical mutation their if use with mythical rod there's more higher chance of getting mythical driftwood. And since driftwood is common to in crab cages maybe they might get the mutation their too

You should (probably) grind for the Fragmente, unlock Ancient Archived, grind for any Rod that fits you, and then just go to the new best grinding spot and stay there till Megaladon Event.

@@Kabi.Meamari278 I dont think you should get wisdom rod. The ability is good for leveling, but the stats completely ruin it. If you farm captain goldfishes, you are barely gonna get any with how horrible the luck and lure speed on it is, and the resilience sucks too. Best option is an Insight Rod of the Depths with rapid catchers

The update just effects progression Rod of the depths still the best one level up progression got affected with wisdome rod+insight so its kinda faster (not as fast as prime crab cages) Overall just get ROTD the other rods are mid as fuck

Luck 20% and 800kg on wisdom, kinda bad since it only gives the xp buff on 1 fish. Which means you have to pray you get a mythic fish to make it worth the time.
