Hello! Seems simple enough... but when I click the "create a promotion" tab the drop down menu doesn't appear?! It almost looks like it is loading behind the sales graph?! Thoughts? Or is there another way to access this feature? I have been able to apply volume discounts for specific items that I have multiple units of when I am listing individual items... but I would really like to apply a volume discount to my entire store. Thanks is advance!

Thank you for your walkthrough. I noticed that the volume pricing doesn't work with variations, for example i have hats with several colours all in the same listing, i want the buyer to have a discount if he buys several colours. Yet the promotion is only applied if he buys the same colour. I would really appreciate your kind advice 🙏

What happens when you offer volume pricing and you are charging calculated shipping? Do you still receive the shipping charge per item? I sell bulk lightbulbs and I fit 10 lightbulbs in a regional rate A box, doubling and tripling that gets heavier and more expensive to ship. I know you said you are, should I stay away from this? Thanks for all the great guidelines you have given already!

Thanks for the compliment and thanks for asking. I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. If a buyer buys more than one of my items, I send a message telling them not pay until I send an invoice with a shipping price reduction as I will combine shipping. I hope this helps.

@@therefinedreseller275 I often just refund the unneeded difference. I sell energy efficient lighting and only charge $10 for 10 plus priority shipping. I had 3 items sell once before and only received one shipping charge somehow. This ended with a big loss for me shipping Priority. The box size and weight tripled. I ended up basically paying an extra almost $30, because the items were going from North Carolina to California. It was a shipping lesson learned. And now Ebay is offering this listing as able to run volume pricing now. Which shipping was the first thing I thought about. So I started looking for everything I could find on the subject. Being very small part-time, non store owning seller, basically paying those kind of differences is not sustainable lol! Thanks again your the man!

An eBay rep told me that this discount only applies to the one listing with multiple, identical items. Not this ad + that ad + another ad. For instance 3 of the same DVDs from an ad listed with a multiple of 5 available. A buyer who wants one DVD from that listing, a shirt from another listing and a baseball card from a 3rd listing, does not qualify for the discount. So, between this info and your video, I am confused. Please clarify. Thanks.

you simply need to go to the listings tab, ignore the marketing tab as they've changed the website around. once you are there, go all the way down to your active listings and see volume pricing next to your item. and then you can adjust it to your liking and you are all set after that

Such a terrible system. Only up to 4 items, and only for the same item. I.e., if the customer orders 5 of the same item, and 5 more different items, they will only get a discount for the first 4 items of the same product and the rest will be full price. What an amazingly bad system. eBay is a joke.
