How to: Oil Change on a SFV650

Part of future maintenance and install videso. This is how the oil change is done on my sfv650. Pretty easy since there are no fairings to remove and everything is exposed.

You oil the gasket so it can slide while you put it on instead of tear. The torque & pressure create the seal.

i hope you had let the engine run for a bit before you drained it, so that it was less thick, making it easier to drain.

I bought a 2017 SV650 3 weeks ago, full power model. it's not my first bike, I've had bigger and faster bikes, butt it's one of the most fun bikes Ive owned.

You oil the gasket on the filter because it makes a better seal. lol
