Lanolin is great i like buying it in a 4 l bottle and spraying it with a squeeze bottle. I don’t think it matters so much what you use as long as u use lots spray it everywhere it stops the mud sticking to your tools!

Can you please do a 9 foot angle tape video. I'm getting used to it from 8 ft. But when ever you need a tune up on skills I always go to the DOC! I recently posted a video & hadnt gotten slayed from comments & yes I clean up during taping 😆 . Thanks Life long fan

Hey Doc! As always super knowledgeable (Wd40) and I agree most men have that one OLD MAN bazooka hanging up thats their personal Cadillac.

A clean taper is a happy taper. It's amazing how much better they run. Go a few weeks with no access to a hose, just bucket cleaning and then pressure wash it. It's like getting a new taper

It's a bit intimidating.... You know so much but can still break down and pass on things you do without even thinking about it. That's the mark of a good teacher. Kudos to you!

Also you wanna make sure to charge the head before starting a new tape

@@THEDRYWALLDOCTOR1 what I mean by that is I run the wheel against the wall just a bit before I run a tape because every time you advance a tape with the sleeve you pull some mud out with the tape but you're not rolling the plunger up keeping the head full. It won't always leave a dry spot if you don't charge the head but it definitely does sometimes. I also make sure when I do it I roll it close to an already played tape so when I box it covers the marks the wheel may leave

I have used wd40 and bazooka oil for 16 years, other parts will wear out before the wd40 affects the rubber. The mud should be thin enough that you can pour it from one bucket to another. It will stay level in the bucket as you use it, and not do the inverted volcano. Keep it clean, keep it lubed, and use that creaser wheel

Have you noticed that bazooka oil smells exactly like pb blaster
