You son, are safe cracking royalty. I fitted an upgrad kit to my safe to help protect quite a few thousand dollars I had put away. But then could not recall the new pattern shape code. So I bought a new safe and started using that. After a few months I forgot all about the old safe (and contents), I had intended trying to cut the back off it, but never could bring myself to attempt it. A couple of years past and my "new" safe was quickly reaching capacity (lightbulb moment) the old safe!!! My better half suggested I get a locksmith but I did not want anyone knowing how much was being stored at home nor did I want to look stupid. I.looked on the internet, found you and within 10 seconds, first attempt, my pride was restored and I had a bed full of wads of cash, none the worse for their little holiday. THANK YOU. We now have a 700kg 2 dial 2 check key monster, my wife is playing banker and won't tell me the combinations. She just says that if she dies first I going to need a bloody big crane and a new bed.

For those that didn't notice you have to keep your finger pressure on the lock handle when bumping it so as to turn the lock in the instant that the plunger drops. Also for safes that "are" fitted to a wall its possible to open them by just thumping the top or bottom hard with your hand and turning the lock whilst thumping.

It depends on many things. Is your safe expensive ? If yes then this won't work. Is your safe bigger than the safe in the video? It probably won't work. The only thing after that is did you try bouncing the safe over and over while turning the nob ? For me personally it took about 20 trys of bouncing the safe up and down while trying to turn the safe for it to unlock.

Oh man! I’ve been looking for car documents and will documents for an along time. I was all set up to destroy the safe lock in an attempt to open it and I tried the drop method and it worked first time!! My partner told me to shut it and then show how it was done - thankfully I took all the docs out first (excitedly), as when I shut it it won’t open again 😂

Thanks for the information I tried it in my safe and it worked. I then took apart the whole locking mechanism and flipped the latch. Tightened all the screws and bolts... Long story short it's not so easy to get into now. Without code or key I even patched the unused holes.
