I am so lost when it comes to writing a research paper and due to COVID I am learning asynchronous. It's been a stressful first semester since I don't really have a professor to talk too. Hi, does this mean you can use more than one organizing principle when creating an outline? Could you use a point pattern, pros vs. cons, and comparison and contrast all in one outline?

Yes, you can. You can set each of those principles up as columns, fill them in for each line, and then sort by that column!

I'm so glad I found your channel. I have a question? How do writers increase their vocabulary and make it coherent? I'm reading my academic books with a dictionary at my side. How do they get to this level of writing?

I wish I could tell you a short cut, but I think it involves just what you are doing - reading, at first with a dictionary by your side, and then just reading and reading and reading. Expanding your vocabulary is both hearing new words used over and over again and then trying to use them in context. You may want to start a daily writing practice just to use the new words you’ve been exposed to. I’m impressed with your dedication!
