I forgave him for watching 10 years of pornography behind my back, and that forgiveness is thrown in my face. He claims that I didn’t because I want to have discussions so that it doesn’t happen again. He wants to act like he’s just all better, never gonna do it again and now we can just go forward. That doesn’t work for me but somehow I am being problematic because of it. He has done no reflection. He has not asked himself how he got there so, of course, I am concerned that it will happen again. This entire thing is so exhausting, and I just really want to get away from him…

In the process of a long divorce because the offender blames me for leaving him because he been cheating for years, even had emails, bank accounts sending money back and forth. I left because it was my boundary since dating. I don’t tolerate infidelity (adultery) for anyone. It’s extremely painful and it takes God to come into your heart to help the offended heal. I almost thought I would die of heartbreak 💔 and God slowly helped me it’s a long healing process it continues as I go to therapy to do the work. But I don’t wish to be with someone who have the audacity to blame me for leaving instead of taking the responsibility of their infidelity and abuse throughout the marriage. Jesus didn’t die for us to live a life of abuse and unfaithful spouses who lied about their vows.

I agree with you a 1000%. If you watch the whole video that was my exact sentiments. It's a very difficult thing to recover from whether the offended spouse stays or not. If a spouse does not take responsibility it's even harder to heal after the divorce. No marriage is more important than your health and wellness. And so I pray 🙏🏾 for your healing and the rediscovery of your best self.
