God is sovereign and His plans for You will come to. Therefore, trust in Him, step out courageously and take action to move forward as you seek His guidance and patiently wait for His direction. We don't know the future but God does. We don't have to know exactly what is going to happen. Everything doesn't have to be perfectly in place before you take a step forward. (Note: doesn't mean get into something recklessly). Key is to act in faith as you wait on the Lord; instead of passively waiting and doing nothing. Focus on glory of God. Seek to honour Him in all you do. Thanks, Mark. I've watched a great deal of your videos and they have been wonderfully insightful and encouraging. God bless.

Thank you. I am afraid of dating. My first relationship I felt it was wrong but stayed for 6 years on and off until the lord told me to leave. He literally told me as i was ignoring the cues. Now i doubt myself with any guy and shy away from dating. i'm always questioning why i'm attracted to this person, what's the reason for you being in my life and eventually just walk away telling myself that it's wrong to want to be with the person. Smh. I need to pray more and have more faith.

My fear is what really keeping me from everything. I’m afraid he’s not the one and because of my fear I thought everything as an end and he’s not for me (I’m not saying he’s for me) but that’s what keeps me. I analyse everything and I think of him, this guy has a plan for future, this guy loves God more than anything and he puts God first over everything. He’s the guy of my standards but my fear keep me and I think everything as ‘no it’s not him... it’s not him’ and I don’t look at who he is and to glorify God. Thank you for this because now I should stop putting walls in my heart and fear, nothing will happen. Let God write it :)

@@username-vp5yn i understand your struggle and I’ve been through that that’s why I’m refraining in relationship but I know God wants us to enjoy the beauty of it. I suggest to you to surround yourself with people filled with God’s Spirit and pray about it. Don’t let fear drive you. :)

@@username-vp5yn first, know that God won’t withold you the good things. It’s the enemy that’s making you fear and paralyzing you and putting you the thought that “God’s going to separate the two of you.” It’s a lie from the devil. He loves to scare us. If you get scared you’ll get paralyzed and start gettig confused of what God really wants. If you’re so confused about if it’s your fear or God I highly suggest to you to ask your Christian friends and trusted mentors. Tell them what you feel and your doubts and they will enlighten you. Then pray to God for clarity and wait. I know this is kinda hard and you’ll have second thoughts, I’ve been there a lot of times, getting confused whether it’s God or my fear, that’s why I ask people with Spirit of God to help me and it works a lot. :) hope that helps you.

1. Know who your God really is. You don't have to fear things on earth. 2. Trust in the souvereignity of God. Act in faith. 3. Start moving before everything is perfect, before you know how it will end. If you wait for the perfect time, you will always keep waiting. 4. Focus on the glory of God. That's the purpose of your life.

Thanks Mark for more encouraging and uplifiting videos! Yes! You're right how there is no such thing as 'perfect' timing, but when is the right time to pursue my sp if he doesn't approach me first? I want to trust and lean on God more with faith. There is no such thing as having enough, everyone could always use more.

I made a huge mistake of not trusting God and instead allowing anxiety to rule my actions, reactions, and words, which cost me what possibly could have been a great relationship, which then led me spiraling down into an abyss of heartache, pain, confusion, and grief, along with condemnation and contemplation of suicide. It took an act of God to reach down for my hand to pull me out of the abyss and put me on a path of deliverance where I've learned to lean into God and to trust Him with my heart and life. And now it's two years later and I see a huge difference in my spiritual growth and ready to find love again and trusting God that it'll be better and greater than what I have ever imagined or experienced before. I have also found out that the last guy I dated two years ago has narcissistic characteristics who can't be trusted, and his love is conditional. I learned this from his ex-wife from a 22 year marriage. I'm also divorced from a 22 year marriage, and finding out that my ex-husband also has narcissistic characteristics. I am still healing from the mental, emotional, and verbal abuse. God has my back and will lead me to a good, loving, Christian man, who I in return will love with my heart and with the love of Jesus Christ.

this is happening towards me right now. I am dealing with fear in my relationship with this amazing, godly person. i am scared that he isn’t the one, or he isn’t going to be my future husband. i just want to do all possible to obey God and not disobey so i get worried and i get filled with so much doubt and so much anxiety. confusion. i’m not sure what to exactly do and it has been killing me. i want this guy but the fear and doubts has been causing me so much pain and pain in our relationship.
@christaclament

@@username-vp5yn Definitely understandable how you feel, and very normal and common. You will know that you have trust in God when you finally feel peace in your heart and mind. Fear and anxiety not only comes from your own thoughts and feelings and lack of peace within yourself, but also the fear and anxiety is a way of revealing to you that you are wanting to control what's happening and the outcome of the relationship, as if it's a goal to obtain. Relationships are not something we finally win, like a marriage proposal or wedding vows. A relationship is something that takes work and effort and love and respect to maintain. As soon as I start feeling anxiety, I then realize I'm wanting to control what can not be controlled. There are no guarantees in life or in relationships. Continue to keep God in your heart, His peace, His direction, and be your authentic self and live life in the moment. The person you're dating might be feeling the same as you do. If he tries to control things, he will feel fear, too. And he could possibly lose you.

I said this before but develop general anxiety disorder form pursing a women when I was nineteen. I got rejection though mean I still single. general anxiety disorder at it heart is irrational. they only thing that works is desensitizations by take baby steps to avoid sensational over of the anxiety hormones. it hard most advice is about taking the quantum leap. I think be friends does help whit approach anxiety. If not dealing with approach anxiety then its easier to deal with rejection. how ever I fear as being seen as a beta orbiter as try to move form point a to point b slowly.

What if you are not attractive.
@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger
@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger 6 жыл бұрын
Attraction is a big word. Maybe physically not so much but people will be attracted to you for other intangible qualities too if you have high character and are a joy to be around. Plus physical attraction is connected to emotions, so you can become attractive to someone who likes you.
