Thank you for boosting up my confidence. I'm already at my 25th attempt to book a job online and still no positive results. I was already dejected but Bryce's message made me realize that I'm not alone and that I can try again and again until I reach my 100th try. Then I'll reset the counter

Still remember watching this when it first came out - one of the best and she's given me some Monday motivation to crack on with pushing my KZbin channel and being creative at 8 months pregnant! Thanks Marie and Bryce x

Such a great alignment to have the vision for miracles + unicorn possibilities + that the rest is happening for us! 64 to 1! The end result being - are we willing to be + do the inner + outer work UNTIL!

Thank you for this. This information was very useful. My bias was that because she's Ron Howard's daughter that she had an automatic "in".

I love Bryce. She's really a good actor that's how I think of her and not because her father was a director. I first saw her in the movie The Village by M. Night Shyamalan. But my favorite movie of her is The Help. She was very convincing in that portrayal of the antagonist Mrs. Hilly Holbrook 👏👏👏 I super love her performance! 👏👏👏🥰 God bless🙏❤️

Here are some things to consider: Recognizing rejection in your life. ... Learn from taking risks. ... Avoid putting all your eggs in one basket. ... Talk to other people about getting rejected. ... Take time to cool off. ... Allow yourself to feel all the emotions you feel. ... Surround yourself with supportive people.

@kirstyw55114 жыл бұрын
It definitely isn't hopeless! It gets harder as you get older because you have to compete with younger people as well as more experienced people your age but it isn't impossible. You have to work harder. Network (that's really important) and how many actors get their jobs. You could start small, like working as an extra, to gain some experience. Talk to everyone. There are adult drama classes. Even if you don't get a job from it it can help with confidence a lot.

the very hard truth is that not everyone will make it. You will strugle and audition and books gigs and do small parts but that is as far as some of us might ever get. It is not easy and never will be unless you are born with a silver spoon like Howard here and basically all of A list hollywood right now.

I know a bunch of professional actors in London (not famous ones, to be clear, but they pay their bills) and, although they did and still do face a lot of rejections, I don’t think any of them got 64 auditions OVERALL. Maybe in the US things are different, but in the UK audition selection for paid jobs is fierce, so even just being called means that you are above average. I mean, even if you get 24 auditions per year (two per months, which is a lot), there’s no way you can get that amount of auditions for 3 years in a row, constantly, before getting a job. It’s just not realistic.
