Thank you so much for this conversation. I‘ve been feeling stuck for last 1.5 year. And this discussion feels so good and refreshing. I‘ve moved in a different country and have been feeling lost and alone, but this conversation felt like I‘m sitting surrounded by my friends, very intelligent and interesting people , and we‘re discussing all things that I love and that are so important for me and us. I feel very warm after today’s evening with you. I did some writing, as I usually do learning something new. And i’m so grateful for all this ideas and insights❤ I wish both of you all the best !

I have a newly diagnosed heart condition, Supraventricular Tachycardia (svt). I'm 53 and it began when I was 49, and I basically live in fear now of going into tachycardia, because there is literally no rhyme or reason as to its trigger. So, a lot of times I feel like I've stopped living. I don't ever want to go on a trip out of town now, because what if I go into svt and I can't self convert? Its awful :( There is an ablation procedure, BUT it's not 100% and I really don't want to do anything invasive... so here I sit, not living my life to the fullest. Fear is the worst, and intellectually I know this, but still...

I found so much help dealing with my health condition by using meditation, mindfulness and introspection. I pray you’ll find your way. May peace and wisdom be with you.

For what it’s worth I had SVT and after living with it for 10 years I decided to get the ablation done and it has never come back. It was a relatively easy procedure. Not exactly surgery as you are awake (but medicated)throughout. I am very glad that I had it done because much like you the fear of having an episode was having a very negative impact on my life. Anyway I hope that whatever you decide you find peace!

Competitiveness is idiotic. 😊 There's no way for it to be healthy unless it's for and against yourself. She's like "It doesn't make me better if I'm first or second" LOL right after talking about how much she wants to be first for like almost an hour. Ridiculous.

Not sure what is more "Idiotic" and "Ridiculous": A brilliant interviewer interviewing a remarkable human being/athlete or you watching this interview and placing this comment which obviously shows you missed the message. I don't understand people who give their time to anything they do not like and then give more time placing idiotic and ridiculous (your words) comments.

@@shivanthikulasingham6131 Actually, nothing idiotic or ridiculous on my end for pointing out that you have to do some really intense mental gymnastics to get "the message" when the interviewee chases her own point like she's trying to dodge being tailed by cold war spies. The message would've been great and, I suppose, was great if you can ignore that she's neck deep in her shadow self and can barely grasp the idea of healthy sportsmanship. But hey. We're all only human, right? Thanks for pointing that out so eloquently.
