I find it really hard to understand emotionally what I understand intellectually. I haven't broken through perfectionism and that I am enough as I am. Thank you for explaining. ❤

Playing is therapy. When I was in kindergarten, I would not play with others. I had no playmate at home, so didn’t know how to play. This is why I dislike teamwork/team sports. I like solitary activities.

I am paying a fortune financially and personally thanks to my mother programming me with toxic shame. I have tried for 61 years to make some headway but that sh!tis hard wired.

I have indeed freed myself from the cycle of blame...it took more than one lifetime. The tragedies about trauma in relationships is that it’s hard to maintain them. Who wants to be around ppl who carry heavy burdens? After working on myself for many lifetimes, I am still dealing with emotional burdens from the past.

Shame? O, for sure! I just avoid talking about things I'm ashamed of and live with it.
