Yo just wanted to let you know, you can actually parkour over to that roof to skip Devil's Peak: we used to do it in the any% speedrun. Look up some of the 19 minute records for an example. Also, you can skip right to entering Rockwell's office by aggroing Percy to the locked door. Hope this helps for any future videos you do of Outer Worlds!

Funny thing is, a lot of his headache would've been alleviated had he just waited a few weeks to do this so the dupe glitch was found. Dupe Adrena, sell, become millionaire, buy and bribe your way through some of the game's harder sections that allow it. Buy the best armor and best mods ASAP, and the game becomes incredibly easy to Pacifist. Except on Supernova. Debilitating injuries make running through combat areas a gigantic pain in the ass.

Honestly the storytelling in this game is so good on the background. Like on the surface it seems like there isn't much choice or a whole lot going on. But then suddenly at a random point in time something you've done in the past comes back to help you or haunt you. And it's those tiny moments that really bring the world to life. It's not just solitary quests that exist in a vaccuum and don't impact the rest of the world in any way. A recent example I can think of is getting the Junior Deputy Badge in Edgewater. Then at a later quest, the very same badge allowed me to pass a speech check I wouldn't have otherwise been able to pass! Also little things like NPCs commenting on your outfit. Martin Abernathy will think you're a marauder if first talk to him in marauder gear. The guy at the Bureau of Exploration gives you a snide comment if you're wearing Chimaera there. I love this game.

Enemy AI was also very simplistic. That hasn't changed any. And ME2 has terribly linear (and just flatout terrible) story and worldbuilding compared to its predecessor, but according to some, improved gunplay (really didn't feel like that to me, but hey).

13:55 you can also clear the marauders out of Devil's Peak station by hacking the terminal in the building and knocking them off with the fire suppressant system. Or you can wrangle the C3s to lead the attack if you complete the Mandibles of Doom side quest. You actually only need to clear out the marauders on floor 2 to complete the objective.

for that first main quest theres a third option, which is to take the power regulator from the botanical gardens and replace the edgewater mayor with the woman from the gardens, then everyone is happy except the previous mayor

That is actually the option they ended up taking as that is the only way Sophia sends you to wipe out Edgewater if Adelaide is now in charge. With Reed in charge she doesn't send you and Edgewater is saved.

Quick pacifist tips for anyone who wants to do a similar run: Running from Cascadia to Stellar Bay is definitely doable (especially with high temperament). Stealing the Board Seal from Gladys can be cheesed by walking behind Gladys, ending the conversation and instantly TTDing, then running to the back left corner of the safe and picking it from there- no one is looking directly at you. Most creatures can't open doors, so if you close a door and then crouch, the agro will eventually go away and you can use whatever terminal you need to touch. NPC's can't use elevators, which means their agro clears when you enter one. This is especially useful in Devils Peak and the drug stealing mission. Also for more help in Devils Peak, you can talk to the C3 group down the hill- just lie(50) and say their leader is dead and they'll rush in shooting for you. The murder everyone in edgewater mission is skipped if you divert power from the botanical lab and make the deserters return (sans Adelaide).

Another thing maybe worth mentioning that could be helpful is you can grab a Defective Spacer's Choice Hat on the groundbreaker. It gives a temperament buff even if you're at max. You can find it by picking a lock near the Spacer's Choice shop keeper as soon as you enter the main area in GB.

I'm pretty sure there's a blind spot that lets you pick the lock for the Corporate Seal from Gladys. Specifically, you can use the safe as cover to pick the safe.

What I did on that first mission, is reroute the power to Edgewater, convince the botanical people to let me help them, convince reed knobson to step down, and the botanical bois move in. Everyone stays happy and no one dies.
