wow who needs so much hair gel for a week!! I usually take everything in travel sizes and sometimes if I'm staying longer I'll buy shampoo Conditioner and things like that at any local supermarket and just get some cheap ones which I can either take home orjust leave/throw them

I can fit all that you packed into a carry-on suit case. You are almost to organized that it takes up more space. For example, you should roll clothes to save space. Combine makeup with "bath care" in a slightly bigger bag. For things that might explode, unscrew the cap, put some cling wrap covering the hole, then screw the cap back on. That way its leak-proof. Store socks underwear ect. in shoes. It also helps keep the shoes shape.

Great tips! I use an old pillow case for our dirty laundry. Mine is blue so I don't get confused if I'm at a hotel and accidentally steal their white one. I'm going to look into the Zuca luggage...love it!

I pack a plastic hanger or two, I can hang my towel to dry anywhere sometimes the hotel hangers aren't removable or use to hang my outfit for the next day etc..and an extra bag either a reusable grocery bag or a canvas bag that easily folds. Seems like I always come home with more stuff than I left with, these bags can hold the extra stuff and easy to carry.

You need a sweatshirt with hood, or a long sleeved sweater and also a rainproof, windproof long jacket so you can go for walks in bad weather and also be warm enough if you go to a show and freeze from their horribly cold air conditioning. Its cold at night at the beach and the wind picks up at night. If you go out for a sail, or an evening drink on the water, you will need jeans and a sweatshirt too. Its chilly out on the water. If you get sunburned, you will feel chilly also. Just a tip: take an old plastic dish tub and fill it up with water by the front door to rinse your feet before you go in the house. I would also suggest a pretty gauzy cocktail dress or two and little sandal heels for a romantic wine and dine and dance! Have fun!

Why are some of you here care if other people are rich or not? I know many women with a crappy job but own many nice stuffs-- makeup collections, accessories, vacation once in a while, and even iPad. And yes I have those too, and I'm not rich. The key is you know how to live cheap and eliminate your debt. By the way I love these great tips from Alejandra! It's very helpful. I usually pack with just one medium luggage but I want all my stuffs to be organized like what she has shown here.

For those of you that keep commenting that Zuca is a skaters bag, please refer to the company webpage. There are several types of Zuca bags, the one people use as a skaters bag because of the space, however, the are for travel and even mention that the seat is to use at the airport or other places while travelling. This bag is the Zuca Pro.

Love those bags! Most important tip to keep garments from creasing is to keep them from moving by pulling straps taunt. My dad was a luggage manufacturer and they hall recommend shoes be packs at the bottom above the rollers. If only a week, would it be more practical to decant lotions, potions, shampoo etc. into more reasonable sized containers? Have you had a lot of product leak? I suggest you contact Ziplock manufacturer and suggest a 'travel' product line like Christmas line

Growing up we always brought an extra pillow case to put our dirty clothes in. On longer trips, especially mission trips, I'll put my remaining clean clothes in the pillow case and fill the suitcase with dirty clothes. I use plastic grocery bags for my shoes.

Excellent ideas! I also use the inside of my shoes for bathroom items wrapped in plactic bags. I put shoes at the bottom, and ise a trash bag to seperate cloting from shoes! Socks and undies can go inside shoes also!

These comments are unreal, they're so dumb. The Zuca bag can be bought online. This style of bag is used for makeup, and travel exclusively. Figure skaters won't use this style. She's traveling by car, she can bring whatever she needs and wants. It's not overpacking, it's what she wants. Shut your faces.

Thank you so much for your video and all your suggestions. I travel quite often and interestingly found that I do many of the same things you do (shoes in sep bag), carry empty trash bags to bring home the dirty clothes in, etc. I'd never seen the Zuca luggage and am quite intrigued. That may have to go on my xmas list this year :) FYI - Samantha Brown makes separate flat bags for toiletries, jewelry, etc - similar to what the Zuca provides. I purchased several, however they do not fit into my luggage nice & neat. When traveling alot all of these things are important to fit everything you need into a small space and yet maintain the organization needed to find what you need quickly.
