Given that late war Confederates from the ACW often wore a blue grey uniform very similar to this, this is a nice tutorial for that too!

Awesome stuff! I reenact LwFD so it's nice to see when people paint them up, they're an interesting unit and didn't perform very well but the look of the Luftwaffe uniforms definitely makes them cool

Not too big, plenty of reenactors generally though, in Yorkshire, however I am in no group and just have the stuff out of interest, some good books on the topic though, best one I have found is "Gorings Grenadiers" by Antonio Munoz although it was a bit pricey, but definitely beats the Field Grey, as impractical as blue is on a battlefield the camouflage bits they often wore do also look very cool@@paintingpanzers

What brand of brushes are you using mate ?

I use Rosemary & Co Series 33 Sable size 2/0 primarily but also use a 3/0 for super fine work and 0 for bigger items 😁

Is there much difference in the uniforms of the Luftwaffe and the Wehrmacht? I’m just wondering as I could use AB figures for Luftwaffe forces if not.

I don't think there is anything difference in all honesty. The equipment and uniform were much of the same from what I've found. I think the Heer AB models will work great 👍

Not surprising your work is NOT what the nickname of the "Luftwaffe-Feld-Division" (Air Force field Division) said: It was "Luftwaffe-Fehl-Konstruktion" (Air Force Constrictional Defect). In german that rhymes. Well done.
